   An absolutely inspiring old mill which is like a department store for around 40 retail (mostly furniture) outlets. We were specifically looking for bar stools but I loved looking at all the beautiful furniture displays and I came away feeling very relaxed and inspired. Probably not a place for those on a tight budget but the niche gadget/accessory units were just as interesting! We arrived too late to sample the café unfortunately but I would definitely return.

   I'm still amazed this place exists because it has amazing designer furniture at amazing furniture prices, especially for Batley Carr, but it is a gorgeous place with lovely gifts. The cafe on the first floor has changed since I was there last, it looked understaffed and my order wasn't great but I have everything sympathy. This place is a really lovely complex to visit.

   Stunning! My friend and I drove here for a day out (interior decor nerds) from Liverpool and it didn’t disappoint. The one thing I will say is that we had expected there to be a bit more design but it’s really more or less exclusively furnishings. Would have LOVED some kitchen/bathroom/tile shops (but that may very well be our bad for not Googling beforehand, hence it hasn’t lowered the score). Overall the entire place is stunning, the staff were very helpful, informed and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into decoration/design or need inspiration for a reno!!

   Fabulous selection of furniture shops under one roof, with prices ranging from reasonable to downright expensive. Nevertheless, whatever your budget, it's a great place to get inspirational ideas for how to furnish your home. Two cafés, one on the Mezzanine floor, the other on the first floor in the main section of the building. Plenty of free parking and easy to find. Hope to be back again soon.

   Great furniture shopping experience. More towards the high end but accessible in terms of atmosphere and friendly staff. Interesting to see some of the more innovative designs or their although at significant prices! A couple of great cafes also great for a pitstop on the way around.

   Great selection of brands and definitely a league above the majority of other furniture stores you'll find. The prices are generally higher due to being named brands, but there are still a range of cheaper, quality items if you look around. The cafe above the lighting section is great, good coffee and food and there are a few other smaller cafes and toilets dotted around the building so you're never far from one.

2. My opinions ★★★☆☆

   I hadnt visited in a few yrs but unfortunately it's not half as good as it once was, their isn't anywhere near as much to look at anymore, it's mostly sofas. Also a couple of the staff were a little snotty particularly downstairs in the show room. Although that being said their is a few lovely shops dotted about Rocket and George is an absolute fave of mine, their is also cafes dotted around that all look good, unfortunately this visit we were a little late to enjoy any of them. Overall it's a nice place and worth a look round. Just a shame it's not as varied as it once was.

   Top quality venue for home furnishings and the food in the café is gorgeous. One day if I'm ever wealthy enough I'd love to be able to shop there. Tried a chair, it was very comfortable - but so it should be at almost £6000
