    I was really looking forward to visiting Shackletons after looking at their brochure & ringing prior to the visit. When I arrived both staff appeared distracted despite us being the only customers in the showroom. The male member of staff was discussing details of a death certificate on the phone. And Dawn was trying to find the price list. We made a special trip to come. Only one of the dinning chairs was in the showroom. There seemed to be a lack of clarity regarding prices for the other three chairs I had seen in the brochure. The customer service was very poor. I wouldn't recommend to others. Such a shame.

    Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Showed me lots of options for a reclining armchair. They then agreed to visit my sister 2 days later with a possible choice for her and said if she liked it, she could have it there and then. Excellent service and the chair was soooo comfortable and just what she needed. Thank you shackletons, no waiting for weeks for delivery

    Excellent choice of chairs, choice of hundreds of different fabrics and designs. Staff were very helpful and we enjoyed a very good cup of coffee whilst testing one of the chairs with a foot rest and reclining back, really comfortable. Would recommend.

    Lovely clean showroom, pleasant staff. We went to have cushions recovered on a suite that we bought from there 17years ago, fortunately they still had the templates, unfortunately material not used anymore, but we found a contrasting one so hopefully within a few weeks the sofa will look as good as new! Just shows that you get what you pay for, the furniture seemed a bit expensive in 2001, but has stood the test of time extremely well! Well done Shackletons.

    Eee it’s grand to find a comfortable chair when your getti’n on a bit, or you’ve got arthritis. My niece got this from Shackleton you know. First she sent for the brochure, then she went to the showroom they’d over 100 chairs to choose from. Shakletons high seat chair. It’s lovely! -Georgie
