Absolutely amazing service from BedWord!! Following a serious health condition my mum required an adjustable bed on her return from the hospital. I called BedWorld on a Sunday evening and a fella named Kamran answered. I asked if they could deliver the bed prior to my mum’s return from the hospital on Thursday of the new week. Kamran informed me that the store was closed and he was simply completing some paperwork in the office and that he could not take my order. Kamran advised me to place the order online and to add notes in relation to when I require the bed and their team will do their best. I placed the order with little hope. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call the following day, on Monday, to be informed that, given the circumstances, they will expedite and the bed will be delivered on Wednesday. As promised the bed was delivered on Wednesday. Brilliant service! Following a period of 4 months I returned to BedWorld and I placed an order for another adjustable bed. On this occasion I explained that mum would now be moving back to her bedroom and to assist her we are installing a stairlift and require the bed before the stairlift is installed on Thursday. Otherwise the bed will be difficult to move upstairs. I placed my order on Monday morning. That very afternoon I received a call informing me that they will expedite and deliver the bed on the next day, Tuesday, albeit it will be late in the afternoon/evening. As promised the bed has arrived. I appreciate these are very particular circumstance and no doubt this is not BedWorld’s usual service level. That said, BedWorld should not be expected to adhere to such service level at all times. The purpose of this detailed review is to showcase a company who will go over and beyond when called upon. On this occasion, BedWorld has achieved excellence in service. Thank you to the team at BedWorld for your excellent service during this difficult time. Highly recommended!!
After reading reviews about bed world must admit we were hesitant, but our experience was positive. The bed and mattress were more than half the price of other well known stores and you wouldn't know the difference. Delivery guys were good after they'd worked a long Saturday, can't fault anything
I’ve just had my mattress delivered to my hallway. 2 delivery guys telling me it’s a 4 person delivery with rope. They was rude and I’ve been left with nothing to sleep on for tonight… I’m 65 and can’t move this mattress upstairs. Thank you for no customer service from these two people….
I would not recommend this company. I ordered a bed for my grandson, in time and so that he could stay over Christmas. I was given a time slot of 7 am to 9 am and told that they would not take the bed upstairs. I had my family waiting to assist and at 9.15 a company van pulled up. The van then drove off with no explanation. My daughter in law rang the office who eventually confirmed that there was a quality issue with the bed and they would re-deliver in January. After the family left knowing the stay over was now cancelled, l rang a man at the store who said he was the manager. I have no confidence he was the manager and he didn’t offer his name. He appeared to be content with blaming the van driver and said there was nothing they could do. In summary the service was poor and ironically the delivery and after care none existent.
We popped into the store in Scunthorpe after seeing the website and not believing how good the prices were! The lady that served us was very helpful and guided us to the best option for us. She was not pushy and really lovely. We chose a base that needed to be manufactured and so delivery was just under two weeks. We had a phone call two days before and on the day to provide times, the delivery was on time and he brought inside which was a great help. The bed is divine! The base is quality, really solid for a divan base and the mattress is the best!
Bought a mattress in December 2022. Whatever we saw in the showroom wasn’t what was delivered to us not the right mattress not correct standard. They then replaced with another one and that was still not as I wanted it so they didn’t not listen to us. They took the mattress back and took two weeks to give the money back and still not the full payment. When we email them they don’t reply back so poor customer service. We would not recommend anyone to buy mattresses from there again. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour and service.
Worse purchase I ever made in Ireland. 43 days and I still don’t have my mattress. After 15 emails trying to get a simple delivery. They scheduled once and didn’t delivery it . They keep saying they will delivery as soon as possible. (Supposed to be delivery in 7/12 days) never again!! Terrible experience. Don’t even agree with my full refund, unbelievable.
Ordered a mattress with a ups next day delivery... Utter lies!! False advertising, never delivered 8 days later no mattress, got a call from them and was sworn at because I wanted a refund. Do NOT buy from these people !! Response The phone number that was made to me was from this store. You also sell on eBay!!
Hugely Disappointed. Please Read the Reviews. Completely dodgy. I ordered a bed one year ago from Bedworld and incurred delivery issues. The bed support beam of the bed completely broke and the metal casters have bent entirely less than 6 months after purchasing it, after tens of phone calls and emails, I received the offer of a partial refund of £80, for a £600 bed! I had to continue to press to get a refund and was landed with a replacement. The replacement took a while to arrive and on doing so, it was in even worse quality - buttons missing, staples sticking out, feet not matching the description on the website. The gentleman who came alone to collect the bed was unable to lift it, never loan complete the collection. Luckily his friend was close-by and was able to help him. The same bed broke less than 2 weeks later (I was away for a week during this time!). After tens of phonically and emails, I finally received a response offering me a replacement beam and again a partial refund of a mere £80. It's clear that they do not want to issue refunds as stated in several other complaints and they take you round the houses to avoid doing so at all costs. On calling I spoke with someone who was able to help me (she's now left apparently) and offered to collect the bed and refund. The collection was scheduled (or so I thought) for the beginning of the following week, so we removed the bed and had it ready. There was no collection. I received a notification the morning before the following week at a time when we were away so the bed couldn't be collected. Too short notice for anyone! Having emailed several times and received no reply / promised collections that haven't occurred, the bed is still with me 4 months later. I'm now seeking the bed to be collected and all I'm being offered is a credit note. I've called over 20 times in the past two days to be ignored, hung up on and emails disregarded. I would seriously avoid purchasing anything from this organisation. There is clearly issues of poor-management, unsatisfactory quality items that do not comply with consumer standards. I will now have to seek legal action to receive the refund as promised.
