I have been coming to this garage for over ten years. During that time, they have without fail completed the work on time, to the highest standard and with fair and transparent pricing. When I had a very old car, they always tried to get me the best prices on parts. As a woman I feel very comfortable using this garage which has not always been the case in the past. I came across this garage after my car broke down and was towed there by the RAC. This turned out to be very fortunate for me as using garages before then had been 20 years of very stressful and very costly experiences. The core team has remained constant throughout the past ten years, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Not reliable garage. The issue came back after they fixed the spare part and now they ask me to go to different dealer.

My car was towed here via RAC at midday on Friday as my clutch needed replacing and car wasn’t drivable. I received a lovely phone call at 8:30am on the Saturday morning, not even 24 hours after being towed to tell me my car was all done and ready to collect!! Amazing service, communication and incredibly fair pricing for the work done. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back if needing more repairs in the future!

I went here to get my car’s aircon re-gassed. They quoted £60 over the phone (I later found out most places charge around £40). A few days later, the aircon stopped working again. I called to ask if they had checked for leaks, they said, “You didn’t ask us to.” I was shocked – I’m not a mechanic, and I would’ve expected them to flag if checks were needed. When I asked if they could have another look, the lady’s response was rude and no help at all. In my experience, they overcharge and offer poor customer service. I wouldn’t go back and don’t recommend them.

Tried to use this garage to investigate a problem they diagnosed with the car! The receptionist was incredibly unhelpful and told me to take my business elsewhere. Cheers for nothing

I recently had the timing chain replaced by AutoQuick as it had slipped. I can’t praise or recommend this garage high enough. This is the second time I’ve used them (first time alternator replaced) and their service has been both fast and more importantly very thorough. Everyone who works there is friendly and they keep you updated with what is being done. Excellent service, thank you very much guys.

I contacted this company Thursday late to equine about an urgent repair. They asked me to come early Friday morning, which I did, and I can’t praise the speed and service enough. They provided an excellent service, were knowledgeable and very quick, and got me back on the road in no time at all with no fuss. I couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks again.

I took my car here simply to have the air con repaired (I wasn't sure if it needed re-gassing or a leak fixing as well). They called me up to say I would need to pay extra to have a leak fixed, which I agreed to. I could only get there to collect my car after work, so it was just as they were closing. When I drove off, there was an unhealthy-sounding humming noise coming from the bonnet. I assumed it would be the air con fan or something that may have been altered, and (quite stupidly) didn't actually check under the bonnet. I took the car back the next day to show them the noise, at which point we opened the bonnet and saw that the air intake tube had completely fallen off and into the fan as shown in the pictures. The noise had been the fan gradually grinding down the tube. I can only assume that the tube must have had some kind of loose connection, and a mechanic accidentally knocked it off while doing the air con work. They first of all denied that this damage was done by them - even though it only started happening immediately after I left their garage. Then they simply said it didn't matter - that I could just use it as is, and they fixed the tube back in with a screw. They refused to give any refund this time round. After a couple of days the air con also stopped working, so I went back there to see if they could either fix it properly or give me a refund, however instead I was told that there is a leak and the entire radiator would need replacing in order to fix it. Again I was refused any kind of refund, even though at this stage I've not only not had my air con repaired, but I've also had my car more damaged then when I originally took it in (and just to top it off I was charged extra for "fixing a leak" which was clearly never fixed). Also seems unprofessional that a completely different conclusion has now been made about the air con then the initial fix - why wasn't I told about this radiator issue the first time round? After being refused a refund by the member of staff behind the desk, I asked him to call the manager. The member of staff showed no signs of caring at all, and I could hear him telling the manager some of the details of what had happened, but not properly explaining everything. After the call he told me I could have a 50% refund for just the base air con fix (not even including the additional cost I paid to have the "leak fixed"). I was outraged but he refused to call the manager again, so that's how I've left it. So to summarize, I've paid to not have my air con fixed, to have my air intake tube broken (but is "fine to drive"...), and above all I've paid to have this happen to my car... Not to mention I've had to go to this garage 6 times (collecting and dropping off), and waste a lot of time speaking to various members of staff. I will 100% avoid this garage, and would massively encourage others to do the same.
