   I can’t speak more highly about JTT ; from their warm welcome to their service, everything was excellent. I had booked my car in for its MOT (Friday 28/11/25) & was advised that it would not pass the test due to the driver’s door not fully functioning. Mark (on reception) advised that they were able to fix the door & complete the MOT today (01/12/25). I’m pleased to say, the door was repaired & my car passed with no advisories. From start to finish, I received a faultless service from JTT. Highly recommended.

   I recently went to Just The Ticket for a diagnostic check, which cost me £80. The data they provided didn’t really match my car’s actual condition. Later, I learned from other professionals that the correct procedure should have been done with the engine switched off. After the check, they told me my car had many problems and recommended that I leave the car with them for further inspection at £97 per hour, estimating around six hours of work. In reality, the issue was very simple: the gearbox was low on oil. I took the car to another garage, and they quickly identified and fixed the problem by topping up the transmission oil. After that, all the fault warnings disappeared. Based on this experience, I feel that Just The Ticket was not very professional and didn’t seem entirely honest. An experienced mechanic should have been able to identify a low gearbox oil issue instead of suggesting an expensive and time-consuming investigation.

   Had some mot emergency welding done here. Only local repairers willing to do the work. Good job, reasonable price, took a week. Open very early, and till late, also Saturday morning. The boss is on site and a nice chap willing to help. Initially difficult to find and parking a problem. Go past the ambulance station.
