   On 25th July my Son received an Estimate 116407 part of which covered the cost of supplying/fitting an ABS Wheel Sensor and Vacuum Sensor Pipe, at a total cost of £258.53, in order to rectify dashboard warning lights on, in his very low mileage 2014 VW Polo. When he collected the car on 2nd August he was presented with a bill for £493.20; not only had the ABS Sensor increased in price, and, the Vacuum Sensor Pipe had become a Brake Booster Sensor, again at additional cost, but, a new Front Wheel bearing had also been fitted, albeit, without any prior notification / authority . Despite 3 emails to Amtec Motors, and, a letter to the Owner, requesting clarification / justification, there has been no response whatsoever. DEVIATIONS FROM AN ESTIMATE SHOULD BE JUSTIFIED AND DOCUMENTED - SO, THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN UNACCEPTABLE AND INDICATES AN UNPROFESSIONAL OPERATION.

   Love this family run garage. I've used it for years to do all our work and servicing on the company van and my own car. They've been in business for about 40 years and have proved to be nothing but trustworthy, reliable and always busy which is testament to their skill and integrity. Had a complete clutch replacement including DMF flywheel, slave and master cylinders plus cam belt and water pump replacement on my Mk1 Audi TT....No easy task and must be done properly. I didn't dare take my car anywhere else. ...And I was glad I didn't!...Seven months since the work was done and the car feels brand new. Pulls like a train, silky smooth gear change and still goes like a cat with it's tail on fire. Jobs such as this are expensive and nerve racking for owners of TT's as things can go wrong later on if the job isn't carried out with precision, expert knowledge and professionalism. Made a good deal on the cost too. Speak to Natalie when you need major work carried out. She's knowledgeable on all vehicle repairs and repair costs and will always do her best to reach a good, competitive price before the work is carried out. Thank you guys. Ron (Parkfords Vivaro and Audi TT Mk1) UPDATE 23/07/25 : Since my last review, I had an accident in the works van which crunched the sliding door, bottom sill and rear wheel arch. It was a right mess. So, I threw myself at the mercy of Amtech again to help me out and yet again, they didn't let me down. Five days later, they returned my van back to me as good as new. I'm not sure who did the work but I can only assume that you are some sort of Wizard who uses sorcery as you managed to repair the mess I made, not only quickly but to the point that I can't even see what you've actually done!...Even the sliding door sill is as good as new! Again, big shout out to Natalie and everyone at Amtech involved in getting this sorted so quickly and to such a high standard. I suppose by now, after all the years I've used Amtech, I shouldn't be so surprised at the high standards of work I've always had as I've just come to accept it as normal but this time, you've surpassed yourselves and left me speechless. It definitely warranted another review. I've added some before and after pics and if anyone can see any evidence of any repair work, then I can only assume that you must have x-ray eyes...!

   I have used this garage for 5 yrs they are absolutely amazing, they do my MOT every year and any work in-between.their prices are fair they do a perfect job . Natalie who mans the office is above and beyond explaining all I need etc , they always check b4 repairing ie cost labour and so on .. i recommend them 100% wonderful small family garage I am totally happy with Kim

   Honest, helpful and always go the extra mile to help you. The team here are amazing. Excellent service all round. I've had the discs and pads replaced, headlights replaced, full service and MOT on Mercedes estate in the last few years. They always come out competitively priced, if not, the cheapest. Thoroughly recommend.

   Best Garage for miles. Great customer service, clear explanations, competitive price. My Lexus was in really bad shape when it went into this garage and came out as a new car. Excellent mechanics. I highly recommend Douglas (owner) and his mechanics. You wont regret it. I had plenty of bad experiences until I found this garage. You get what you paid for that is for sure. thank you guys. All the hard work put on my Lexus it is running as new.
