Clifton’s Auto is the place to take your car if you want a quality service. They fixed my Daughter’s Mini Cooper when I couldn’t get it fixed around my area. The car is running great.No stalling or smoking. Excellent work. Definitely recommend this garage for anyone having problems with their vehicle.
Took my BMW for a service and MOT here and was really happy with the service I recieved. The young guy that looked after me & did the work was really friendly and sent me updates throughout the day. I'd had a quote over the phone but it actually worked out less because they didn't have to change the air filter that was in their original quote. Highly recommended!
Clifton is a decent man who showed great persistence and initiative in fixing a tricky fault on my mercedes. I'll be back, if he'll have me !
Finally, an honest garage. Great first experience bring in my 1 Series to check on a rattling timing chain. Unlike others, they don’t just try to sell you needless repairs. Highly recommend.
I hardly leave reviews after visiting a mechanic, however after my visit to Clifton auto, I felt the need to and I will highly recommend them to everyone thinking about taking Thier car there. Too my car there Saturday, Monday morning it was ready for collection. Thank you guys for taking care of me, my car is better and I can tell the difference already.
My car battery died yesterday (Sunday) and I was due to drive cross-country. I went on Google, and Clifton's was the first name to come up. I gave him a call, and he was extremely helpful. He was quick to arrive, and started my car within 3 minutes. He was polite, professional and I would happily use his services a again. In addition, his services are affordable.
I had my car repaired about a year ago. Picked it up and realised the next day that the problem still persisted. Took the car back again only to be told that what they first thought the original issue was, was incorrect. And to have my car properly fixed would cost me more money, over £350 to be precise. I felt completely a their mercy at the time as I had no other choice. Don’t get me wrong the staff are wonderful, professional and tell you what’s happening. Clifton on the other hand was very unprofessional and rude towards me. What other garage owner do you know says to a customer “ don’t think about taking me to court you know” Totally unprofessional and maybe it’s time to retire Clifton. Just to reiterate any good reviews on here are due to the staff members only. I will never step foot back in that garage ... lesson learnt!!!!
I've just had a major service and some electrical issues diagnosed and resolved by Clifton Autos on my BMW. I thought their service was excellent. Communication was particularly good. They took time to understand the issues I had and due to complexity they had to keep the car for a while but they kept me updated at every step. I felt that all the staff really cared about their customers. Car also came back cleaned inside and out which was a nice touch.
