Had my car broken into and laptop 12v charger and a bunch of stuff gone missing. This as they parked it round the corner the afternoon before. The MOT was issued on line about 4 pm. They told me to pick up the car the next morning. And when I went there was told to come back later. This when the certificate had already been issued the day before. AVOID.

Beware of the ASNS Motors mechanic has Stretham. I trusted him and left my car to change the timing belt, fuel pump etc. I asked for a price and stressed that the job would be done well because I am going on a long journey with my family abroad. He promised that everything would be done properly and not to worry. I left the car the next morning and waited patiently for the call. He called around 5pm that the car was ready and that I could pick it up. After coming to the garage, he was still putting something together but said it was ready and I paid for the work but when I started the engine and heard another metallic noise, I told him and he replied that the pulley on the timing belt has room and is causing vibration and maybe that's why it is noisy but that I can go!!! I asked if he could do it and he said that I should come the next day. I left the car as we agreed and waited. He called at the same time and he said it was ready but the engine was making a loud noise and he said it was normal and almost to worry. 2 hours after this I drove to the store with my family to do some shopping and drove about 3 miles and the car came to a halt in the middle of the street, I tried to start it but the engine was noisy and didn’t run fit a while. I called him and he he replied that I should come tomorrow morning!!! I called a tow truck at my own expense and another mechanic who showed me loose cables in the engine compartment, a missing screw in part of the engine etc. After 4 hours at night the mechanic who repaired my car wrote that he did not start the car so I politely wrote back that he did a very bad job and that I don't trust him anymore and another mechanic will check what happened. The new mechanic sent me pictures of the loose timing belt, missing screws, loose cables the next day. The parts the original mechanic supposedly replaced were still old and there was a missing part that was needed for tensioning element belt. (steel wedge that blocks the belt tensioner wheel). I went to the ASNS botchman and asked about this part and of course he did not know what was going on. After an hour he called me that it was not a problem and that I should take a screw of the same thickness and cut it put it in the place where the steel part was.!!! I asked for a refund and he refused. He said he has done a good job and that he would not pay me back. I lost a lot of money, nerves and time because of this thief. I had to pay for the repair again. The ASNS mechanic put me and my family in great danger and under a huge amount of stress claiming that everything is fine and that I can drive safely, the car has not even gone 3 miles and he says he did a good job. I have a picture and video of everything he did wrong to prove it.

Horrible experience. Owner/manager does not know how to run a business or offer any sort of costumer service. Was left with no option other than to go to them, but next time I'll rather push my car to scotland if needed. Went in for starter motor and ignition barrel, which was sorted, but now car has got an electric warning light and speedo is not working; manager told me to 'come tomorrow and we'll do something' whilst having a cuppa and a smoke, showing me his lack of empathy or respect to costumers. It was clear to me that, even though the mechanics might be good, whoever is at the front is clueless. Not going back and deffo do not reccomend to anyone.

I took my car there for an MOT and they said they would call me when it was ready. (there were no problems with the car) After a few hours I got a call that there was a problem with the power steering pump and it needed to be replaced because it was leaking, which would cost around £230 + an oil change because it was black. When I said that I would come to the workshop, they immediately told me that they call the wrong customer and that my car would be ready in half an hour. The MOT was fine but they charged me £80! Since then, the car's engine is not working well, it is noisier and has started to vibrate. Do not go to this service!!!

Manager has no clue about mechanics. He is a prize prat. Very rude and obnoxious. Does not do the job well and then when you complain he parks your car up the road and won’t deal with the issue. I’m surprised they are still open. Even fit a sensor and later when I had the same supposed problem, was told that the part wasn’t changed. If you are a female do not use this place. They are thieves and like to push their weight around when they know you are female.

Replaced an alternator motor in my Ford recently. Managed to order the part and knock out the fitting of it in less than 8 hours. Amazing service, speed and professionalism.

Scam Artist !! I took my car there to get an internal part changed because of a problem I was having, the mechanic told me I would need to replace the part and charged me almost £300 for the job. I then went to another mechanic around 6 months later for another issue which just happened to expose the part that I was told was replaced and come to find out it had not even been touched ! He probably just changed a fuse which would have cost approx £10 - 20 but still charged me the full price of an unrelated issue. Steer clear or be very careful with this cowboy !!
