My mom was in so much pain after this but the surgeon was nice. I gave it a 3 star because staff were really nice but it caused her a lot of pain.
Had both eyes done within 3 months can't praise spamedica enough .Really friendly put you at ease straight away explain what's going to happen . Never felt a thing amazing and really quick I was in about 2 hrs and that was from start to going home really recommend them if you have to have cataracts removed well worth going there
Had both cataract surgery at Spa wolverhampton, first class service across all aspects of procedure. Before surgery and after rated 10, as for the surgery itself also rated 10. Had final eye cataract removed today 08/07/2025. I can't praise all the staff at wolverhampton enough.
1st app I went to was very quick then had eye test dn then after other check i wos done no where near 3 hrs and you book surgery on way out with reception staff. Went back following mon just to have, 2nd opinion as they thought yes ive deffo got caterax bt does it need doing now. But I decided with spec savers to have it dn cus its its not going to go so he said when do you want it dn, I said asap as dnt want to think about it so had it dn 3 weeks ago, did it hurt not at all i was petrified honestly but you dnt feel a thing he tells you wots happening. The o ly thing that hurts is when the drops wear away you do feel grittyness in the eyebut you carnt rub it, he put me some more drops in bt only last half hr. Bt spamedica is really brilliant place from the very start offers you tea coffee throughout yr stay nurses are very good theatre staff brilliant and the surgeon very nice and spoke throughout 10 out of 10 I'd give higher if could plz dnt panic like me I REALLY IS PAINLESS. I had my left eye surgery on 9 of Jan.i had a very wonderful experience. I was scared first because it was complex surgery but doctor who done my surgery was brilliant. God bless him other staff was sooo brilliant and friendly thanku sooo much every 1
SpaMedica Pendeford Wolverhampton are amazing. I had my second eye operated on yesterday, that’s the right and left in two months. My sight has never been so good. The staff are wonderful, kind and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. If anyone reading this is due to have their cataracts operated on then don’t worry. The procedure takes 10/15 minutes and you are in good safe hands. Also it doesn’t hurt at all. I can’t recommend SpaMedica highly enough. Thank you to my doctor for sending me to such a great place.
I have both eyes done and the difference in my sight is fantastic. All the doctors and staff were great they explained everything they are going to do in the operation and how long it would take. From the first appointment to the last post care appointment there patient care was exceptional. All I can say now is Thank you
Just had my second cataract surgery at SpaMedica Wolverhampton.I could not be more pleased with the care and attention given to me over both procedures.No waiting for months for appointments, one procedure followed the other quickly. Staff welcoming , attentive and very considerate to patient care. Nursing staff and surgeons, very professional and highly skilled. Whole experience was very much appreciated by me.
