Great service and advice from Jez today helped us understand everything about the sofa and extras we purchased looking forward to our new sofa in a few weeks EDIT still waiting for sofa which was ordered in September supposed to be coming today 20/12/2025 after being delayed twice already so if it doesn’t come today as planned will be returning to store for full refund what a performance better of going to a small business that doesn’t mess you about and isn’t just going to fob you of with excuses

Terrible experience, spent thousands and waited months for a delivery for it to arrive damaged, not fit for purpose, nor as described. Went into store for a resolution for these problems to be told from the mananger via a sales rep (as the mananger couldn’t be bothered to have the conversation himself) to read the terms and conditions and that nothing could be done. When making a payment in the weeks before this of a hefty sum of money I spoke with the manager for a query I had. During which time the manager remained clicking away at his laptop and never once faced or looked in my direction as I spoke with him which I considered to be remarkably ignorant. Would not want to step foot in this store again nor waste any more of my hard earned money, completely devastated is an understatement

We visited furniture village sheffield sat 11th Oct. We were only in the store 2-3mins when a member of the store asked if he could help in anyway, he introduced himself as Jonathan and asked if he could get us a drink. He was so polite, professional and Helpful. He then left us to browse and only returned to us when we needed him. There was no pressure from him or any of the staff, it was lovely and relaxing for my wife and I. There was a wide range to look at and we were there about 2 hours. We purchased a table and chairs and are very excited for the delivery.

It was a worst experience for me. I ordered a bed on 29th Aug and was promised to be delivered within 5 to 7 weeks. Now it has been more than 10 weeks and there is no communication from them. Called customer service and shop many times and everytime they say it is coming in next week. But next week never arrives. Very poor customer service from Sheffield store.

I would not recommend Furniture Village to purchase from solely for delivery and after sales. They have a system where when they input your email incorrectly, they cannot try to send it you again with the correct email for your insurance documents, because their system doesn’t allow it, which is a pathetic excuse for someone who can’t be bothered to do their job. Delivery drivers are mostly contractors who purposely forgot half of the order because once again, “they can’t be bothered”, and they supposedly take pictures of damaged items for a replacement, only to find out when you talk to customer services that they never sent the photos in, making you ineligible for a replacement. Customer service is total mess, filled with people who do not want to help you, and are only bothered about their own gain.
