Very dated decor and despite being told by several colleagues that the food was really good it was incredibly disappointing. The Thai curry was watery, insipid and served with tasteless boiled rice and the bread rolls were stale beyond measure. The staff were lovely however but as an 'event space' there are better options for less money.

The hotel it's self was really good, we were well looked after within our conference. The food was excellent, although on the Sunday even though they were pre told that one guest did not like spicy food, they had not cater for me. My main concern is that the accessable room is an annex room outside at the rear of the hotel, up a huge bank. My fellow conference guests at to push me up this bank in the pouring rain, not well lit either! It was very slippery. We were very concerned what we would do if there was frost in the morning. Someone drove their car up in the morning for me, but had there been a frost, not sure how I would have got down!

Unfortunately not the best. This was a great location for me. The room was a bit tight and the TV was the smallest I have seen. The bathroom was definitely dated. The guide book was nicely left on the pillow but when I opened it, many pages were covered in grease. The food in the bar looked really good on the menu. Again unfortunately the food was a long way off the standard the menu portrayed. Also the cooked breakfast was a bit lukewarm. I would select an alternative location personally. A bit disappointing.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks quite expensive. Rooms were small clean and well heated. As some others mentioned not state of the art facilities but fairly priced so no complaints.

  2. DIVA DIVA ★★★☆☆

The venue presented well. Clean Nice staff very respectful. The room was a small single Very Noisy generators or air con machines outside window did not sleep at all. Although nice enough too remote for me not located near shops be prepared to pay for cabs.
