   Booked weeks ago and turn up to find it's closed as a hotel and now a migrant accommodation centre. No warning. Terrible practice

   The room is spacious and clean, the staffs friendly. But our room had no cold water, which was an interesting and new experience. Water from every tap came out hot. Apart from that, it was a nice stay.

   Convenient and comfortable. I stayed at this hotel as I was visiting a friend in the area. The rooms were very spacious, and really comfortable which I appreciated. The hotel is very close to a train station, which is fine for me, but if that disturbs you, you will need to ask for a room on the other side of the building. The staff were so truly amazing that I've taken the review from a 3 to a 4 star rating. The most welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff I've encountered in a long time who really did justice to their roles! Would I stay here again? Yes. If I was in the area :)

   Stayed one Saturday night our party had 2 rooms. Good size and well maintained. The room above had a very noisy floor causing a little disruption through the night when they walked about... The lady at reception (Saturday about 5 pm) was lovely. Very helpful and caring, a credit to the hotel!

   The hotel was clean, had a decent shower, plenty of free parking and very reasonable, but, I can't believe that no one mentions that it is right next to the railway. The noise throughout the night woke us many times, and once I thought the room was collapsing because of the rumble of the 3am freight train. It's perfect for very heavy sleepers.

   First class staff whose attention to our stay was evident from check in to check out. Ok agree with some reviews that rooms may be slightly dated but cleanliness and comfort exceptional. Stayed with our Springer Spaniel and team could not be more accommodating…do not be put off by the “budget” tag - this place is definitely on our return list when coming back to the Midlands.

   we have a family member with a health condition, which means that we need to have rooms next door to each other and also two keys to their room....Richard the manager promised to sort this for our stay (have had many unfulfilled promises of the same in hotels before) but the very helpful and pleasant reception staff greeted us with knowledge of our problem abd next door rooms and two keys! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. would definitely stay here again. Many thanks to your lovely staff.

   What can I say… from check in the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Room are large, if anything slightly dated, but what can you expect from a £30 a night budget hotel. Beds and towels are clean and fresh. Pet charges are only £5 per dog per night which is great. Other “hotel chains” wanted £15 per dog per night. Only a quick stop over stay on journey to Devon from Scotland. But ideal for that clean bed to sleep in with friendly staff. Ticks the boxes for me.
