   We had our wedding here only a few days go, it was exceptional! The staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful all year round. The food was amazing from the wedding breakfast to breakfast the following morning. Our guests have all complimented the rooms, beds and showers. Along with the staff, venue and food. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all you did, from the first meeting to checking out the morning after. Thank you!

   Lovely place. I’ve stayed in a couple of different rooms and really beautiful. The breakfast basket has a good selection of items in too and in summer a fan being added to the room was very welcome. Only thing that is a bit tricky is the door code access when carrying bags/a case, took me a few attempts. But all in all a relaxed stay in a pretty location.

   Amazing wedding at the ORH ❤️ We decided that we would like to have our wedding ceremony and meal outside. The stretch tent was the bra option for that and it did not disappoint at all. Fully covered and protected by the rain and wind. We were unlucky a little bit to have rain during our ceremony however due to the decoration and the setting of the stretch tent it actually made the whole experience super cosy and romantic. Thank you so much for the whole team for making our day truly unforgettable . The venue looks incredible, the staff are true hospitality professionals . Genuinely a true hidden gem tucked away and we are lucky to found it . Thank you very much ! ❤️

   We got married at The Old Rectory House in July 2025. It was absolutely incredible. From our initial booking right up to and throughout the day, the whole team were wonderful. Ellie was so helpful and supportive while we planned the event. Having never been married before, she was a safe pair of hands to guide us through the process. On the day itself the team were fantastic. We have had so many friends and family since tell us how wonderful the bar staff were and that they couldn't do enough to help! The building itself also stunned our guests (us too when we first saw it!). It has National Trust style architectural charm and the grounds are beautiful too. There are lots of different areas to The Old Rectory House and as we had exclusive hire it felt like we were on a country estate miles from anywhere else. It is such a hidden gem in Redditch! The rooms are decorated sympathetically to the style of the old house and the getting ready room was amazing for natural light (and spying on guests arriving!) If you are contemplating getting married at the ORH we cannot recommend it enough. It was the most glorious setting for the most glorious day with a team that 100% brought the vibes!    We booked our wedding here for May 2025 and the place was perfect. Ellie was always on hand since we viewed the place until the wedding day and ensured the day ran smoothly. She and the whole team were absolutely amazing. Greg and the team behind the bar on the night were really helpful and sorted out any issues or requests we had. Jackie and the catering team in the morning couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. It was such a happy occasion and the team did an amazing job at keeping it stress free. Thank you Ellie and the Old Rectory team for making the day so special.

   We have just used this venue for a family Wake (March 2023). and it was perfect. The setting is lovely and the service and food were excellent. The staff were very attentive to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very sensitive to the reason we were there. I would highly recommend them. I didn’t rate the bedrooms as I didn’t use them but the function rooms were excellent.

   We had our wedding here on the 11th November 2022 and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We had a bit of a rush with planning and organising, due to a family member being diagnosed with a terminal illness, but the ladies at Old Rectory House were there to answer any questions and help where they could. Lisa, the manager was a god send on the day and the night before, putting me at ease and being there to help us with various bits and bobs. Becci was also great on email when I needed to check measurements etc. The venue itself is utterly charming, it's perfect for an intimate wedding or family event. The decor is an absolute delight and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable - everyone was impressed. The wedding ceremony room we chose was the Orangery and the turnaround time between the ceremony and wedding breakfast was done at record speed. It was so beautiful. The whole day was orchestrated for us with professionalism and charm; they bossed (in the nicest sense of the word) people around for me, basically and nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible, in fact it went so quickly my husband was disappointed he didn't get seconds!! The choices all sounded delicious, it was very hard for us to pick which ones we were going to go with and we ended up having more than we needed. The only thing I would suggest for them is having someone monitoring the food as I think some people may have been a little greedy!! The breakfast the following morning was also fabulous. I was impressed with the quality and the amount of choices we had, it was like being in a upmarket restaurant. I believe there were six or seven breakfast options, including vegan and vegetarian. I was a little too hungover to enjoy it properly though :( The drinks options were also surprising, they had my favourite non-alcoholic rose cava and plenty of larger choices for those who didn't like wine. All in all, an incredibly emotional and perfect day. If anyone wants to see the video, it's on YouTube as Waine & Chelle's Wedding - 11th November 2022.    My husband and I got married at the Old Rectory House hotel in September and had the best time celebrating with our friends and family. Becci and Lisa were great from the beginning and made the whole experience smooth. Great food, reasonably priced and lovely intimate venue. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book a wedding in Redditch.
