Ordered masala chips and single samosa chat. It was all tasteless, total waste of money. Half cooked and cold samosa with no onions and scarce yogurt. The chips were cold and soggy, didn't even have salt and the masala was all don't know what... I believe the workers buy the inventory from their pockets that's why they are reluctant to make a reasonable portion for the customers plus the recipes aren't desi. It's all a waste of money.

I don’t get what is the point of these toasties like waste of money. And literally nothing inside the toasties. It’s a joke with few tiny pieces of chicken! like wth you pay for it and advertising is soo wrong.

I visited the Trafford Centre store on Sunday the 14th December for the first time and wow, the food blew us away! We bought 2 mixed meat wraps which were hot, fresh and tasty and the staff were wonderful. Zara served us who was really friendly. We had to go back to the Trafford Centre again today and decided to come back to Chaiiwala and again, we were greeted with a friendly smile and excellent customer service, this time from Khadija and Ayman. It really does make a difference when staff treat you with excellent customer service so thank you so much and keep it up!

Food was all lovely and fresh. I had the butter chicken Bombay bowl which was incredible and such a large portion I couldn’t finish it! My boyfriend had the mixed meat kebab and masala chips - he really enjoyed both, especially the chips. First time trying Chaiiwala and definitely won’t be our last visit.

Β£17 for two very small wraps with barely any filling in and two drinks. What an absolute rip off. We could have gone anywhere else in the Trafford centre (like we were going to) and got a full meal for that price. When ordering we thought they’d be the size of what a gyros usually is or a fully sized pitta bread for example due to them being Β£5.75 each. Absolutely disgusting. We were waiting 25 mins as well for two tiny wraps. Pure greed. Won’t be coming back and will be making sure everyone else knows as well. Wraps should have cost no more than Β£2/3 each.

Very disappointed with the soggy masala chips, expected them to be crispy with a level of spice, unfortunately had bin. The burgers were nothing special, unfortunately myself and three children had diarrhoea due to eating them, the regular size drinks are a disappointment and should be called coffee shots as they are small! Ordered a samosa chaat which I’m unsure if it was from the portion they accidentally dropped on the floor and didn’t notice if it was binned or used, this should have been mentioned at point of sale to avoid confusion. Overall experience was below average very disappointing please do not waste your hard earned cash here. On top of all this was waiting for 20 minutes for food. Trafford Centre Manchester Also to add, you clearly DO NOT READ THE REVIEWS BECAUSE EVERY REVIEW YOU LEAVE IS THE SAME STATING TO REPLY TO YOUR EMAIL WITH NAME AND SO ON, which is already included in the review, what a pathetic way of communicating.

Lovely staff and I like the look of the place and the menu options. I tried the breakfast but felt that, although plenty of tasty bread was provided and the omelette was nice, the dhal portion was really tiny (and I don't even eat a lot!) The breakfast meal should really offer at least two sides if the portions are going to be so small - there was even an empty section in the tray for something else. A second (or larger) portion would make the meal more filling and there would then be enough food to have with the paratha/roti bread provided. I am hoping this meal option might be more generous in the future so that I can try it again. * I appreciate the reply, but I won't be trying the breakfast again unless you can ensure the quantity of food will increase! Shere Khan is only a couple of pounds more and better value.

The worst customer service I’ve experienced. We ordered and chai and samosa and it took 15 mins to serve us. The samosas were already made!!! People whi came after us were served before us!! Shambles!!!

Have been to other Chaiiwala locations across Manchester, was pleasantly surprised to see it now open in The Trafford Centre. Stopped for a refreshment or tea and snacks. Quick service , and hot pasties and hot karak chai.
