Cafe experience in Stretford

“We moved to the area around a year ago and our estate agent told us to go here for dinner to celebrate. We didn't get round to it then, but we should've! We came with a group and tried every dish on the menu. There honestly wasn't one average dish, they were all perfectly cooked, creative and beautifully presented. We asked everyone around the table which was their favourite dish and got back at least 6 different answers, so there really is something for everyone. Price wise, I think it's very reasonable. We walked out stuffed, and had wine and desserts for £50/per person roughly.”

“Great cafe 10 minute drive from chill factore / Trafford centre. Small / medium sized cafe, no booking taken over the phone for breakfast, first come first served. We arrived @ 11am and it was very busy. Had to wait about 20 mins for a table but was absolutely worth it and staff where polite and kept us updated whilst we waited. Brunch menu served till 12.30 Cooked breakfast / loaded potato skins / smoked salmon & egg / pancakes etc…. Went for the big cooked breakfast which was truly superb. Hashbrowns i think are home made, and lovely, as re the Cumberland sausage etc. The whole thing was big and filling Would definitely recommend and will return again.”

“I eat here once or twice a week. Consistently friendly staff. And unlike some cafés in this price range they are happy to substitute alternative items for no extra cash on their set meals. They have a veggie breakfast, which I've not tried, but I have no idea how vegan their veggie meals are. Well placed for a meal or a quick cuppa when changing from bus to tram at Trafford Bar, but get there before 2 as they close at half past!”

“We came to eat at the cafe last night for my daughter's birthday treat before a stadium tour today. Food was lovely and homemade, staff were so friendly and accommodating. She got a card and balloons and the sweet station was a huge highlight. Really would recommend and will hopefully be back one day.”

I was served by a gentleman called Dillion, he really understands his customers and was exemplary in which he held himself whilst attending to his customers, from observation he anticipated customers needs and was well presented, well spoken & polite. “Amazing food for a supermarket cafe! Had to take my car in to the garage next door so had no way of getting back until it was fixed so popped in for some food. Really unexpected to be honest. I had hallumi burger with chilli jam and lettuce with peri peri fries (I know right) then to finish I had a salted caramel flapjack and my mum had mince pie bakewell, really delicious, she says the best she's ever had. Staff were nice and service was efficient.”

“What a fantastic little roastery. I picked up a flat white and a bag of beans from them at Bolton food festival and I honestly can't stop ordering their coffee since. They've got a great range of coffee in their online shop that have become a staple at home, and are great for a wide range of brewing methods. I can't wait to try their cafe next! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a local roastery in Manchester, especially love their atomic fable.”

This is a frequent place for me and a number of my collegues to go for lunch and I cannot recommend it enough. “I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better person than Macory to celebrate my son Liam’s birthday with. From the moment we walked into the Man Utd Red Café, he made us feel so special. He had the table set up beautifully and was there every step of the way, making sure Liam and his friends were happy, excited, and truly enjoying themselves. The kids absolutely adored him — and the other parents were just as impressed by his kindness and care. He went above and beyond in every single detail, and because of him, Liam had the most magical day. Thank you, Macory, for giving us memories we will treasure forever.”

The service was excellent, especially thanks to Anamika, who served us with kindness and warmth. We tried the Legit Burger, which was delicious, along with the flavorful basmati rice, mac and cheese, and a variety of vegetables. Everything was well-prepared and satisfying. Despite visiting on a Thursday evening, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food and attentive service. Highly recommended!”

Very welcoming with a friendly approachable and went through many clothes with me. I spent well over my budget and worth every penny. I will on out be shopping here now, no more Cheshire oaks for me.
