Easily the best store in Manchester! Afib is always happy to help, whether you’re shopping in-store or placing an order online. Always so cheerful too. I’d recommend them just for the customer service alone — something that’s hard to come by these days.
Visited this store on 15 March 2025 to buy some pumpkin and yellow yam. The price was around £5.33. I asked the shop keeper if I could pay by card for the small amount and he confirmed yes. Checked my account the following day and was astonished that the shop keeper had taken £11.66 from my account. I telephoned the shop on a mobile number and explained the situation and he asked me to come to the shop today (16/3/25) and he would sort it out. I asked what time they closed and he said 4pm. I arrived at the shop at 12.30. The shop was closed. I am really disappointed. I am a disabled lady that users a scooter and I wasn't really well enough to make that trip but I did it anyway. Only to find out that he lied to me about being open. I will be contacting my bank to dispute this payment. It's shameful that he thinks he can get away with taking more money from me that wasn't due. If I could leave a 0* review; I would. Please ensure if you are paying by card that you check the amount before you pay or better still, don't shop there. I will not be visiting this superstore again. Shame on you!
They have every thing! (Every African food and spice thinkable) Including wonderful customer service
An amazing shop with polite staff always ready to assist. They sell almost all sorts of food including Africa food:okro, semovita, palm oil, meat,ox tail, shaki, name it, Hulme Manchester Super Store has it.
I am very happy with this shop. They have a good variety of african/jamaican/ continential foods. Fresh meat and youn man is very nice I would highly recommend this shop.
You can easily get hair product's here and there are shop's that sell african food stuff as well. There's a place you can top up too, you might struggle with parking space sometimes and sometimes you might just be lucky. I always experience good costumer service as well...
They got good variety of food products, African food mainly and Halal meat. shop keeper is nice too.
