   Fresh produce always available. Good selection of ready meals, fresh meats, snacks, cakes and fresh flowers etc. Friendly staff with a smile. Easy self serve at tills. Parking available but not a lot of spaces, can be a issue when shopping mid day.

   I shop here quite often. I find the parking spaces extremely small and too narrow. Very often its difficult to open the door without hitting the car next to you. I have had many dings on my car from this car park and also a bad accident when someone backed into me.

   It is a nice little cafe but the staff do not seem to want to be there. We ordered food and were met with a chorus of huffing and puffing and the chef being told ‘they would have their work cut out’ with an eggs benedict, toastie and some fries.. Eggs Benedict and toastie were tasty but the cheesy garlic Mayo fries left a lot to be desired. Soggy fries covered in grated cheese and a squirt of Mayo on top. Definitely room for improvement, and some customer service skills needed.

   I ordered a pair of boots from M&S Bury branch to be delivered to the Prestwich branch. I ordered them and paid for them on 4 Nov 2022. I was advised they would be delivered to the Prestwich Branch by 6 Nov 2022 but I would receive a text confirming that they had arrived. As I didn't receive a text, I called into the store a few days later to be told they hadn't arrived and to wait for my text. As I didn't hear anything further, I rang the Bury branch only to be informed that the boots had in fact been sent to the Prestwich store, but as I hadn't collected them, the order was cancelled and my account had been reimbursed. I am really disappointed by the service (or lack of it) and the fact I was not notified and that my boots were sent back. I will now be looking elsewhere for a pair of boots!

   Visited at 7:40 pm. Had members of staff shouting across the shop floor get go to the tills as they were closing soon. By 7:50 the lights around the snacks area had been turned off possibly causing a trip hazard and it was not possible to read the labels on the products because it was so dark. By 7:55. The shouting across the store had now happened 4 times. By 8pm we were through the tills. Tried calling them on the local store number indicated on the receipt but this is misrepresented. All calls end up at call centre in South Africa and not at the store. Regardless of the calls ending in South Africa and the number called being for the Prestwich store. Matters were made worse when they stated that they only deal with on line sales!! Really horrendous customer service and being intimidated to get over to the tills because the store closes in 20 minutes is not acceptable. Poor and unwelcoming experience.

   I come in periodically. The car park was very busy today. It accomodates both M&S and Pets at Home. Today I went in. They often have specials. Today there were half prices boxes of chocolates to put away for that December 'C' word!! Or to indulge now. I originally picked up some Turkish delight then changing my mind at the till where the half price chocs were. Cashier was super friendly and helpful. On the whole I class this as a treat visit rather than a regular shop but pleasant visit today none the less. Follow up. Sat in cafe with cold tracker and rock hard butter. Not impressed. Simple item. Gordon Ramsay would not be impressed!
