   Absolutely unacceptable service. We booked a 5pm table specifically because we were dining with a small toddler and needed to be home for bedtime. Starters arrived reasonably quickly, but then we were left waiting over 1 hour and 20 minutes for our mains. During this ridiculous wait, we watched multiple tables who arrived after us get served before we did. When we questioned this, the waiter casually told us our food was “being dished up.” That turned out to be another 20-minute wait. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and clearly had been sitting around. Completely unenjoyable and not worth the wait. We complained and were offered free desserts, which is frankly insulting given the situation. With an exhausted toddler, staying any longer wasn’t an option. This was some of the worst service we’ve experienced. Poor organisation, poor communication, and poor food. We will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, especially families.

   Well what can I say about this place, we were treated appallingly. Arrived at 11.45 and we were told to wait outside as they didn't open until 12.00, (although we weren't told this at time of booking) the rain was lashing down and when we asked could we just wait inside, we wouldn't order anything, because of the weather, a very frosty looking barmaid said no we couldn't, her attitude was terrible, so it resulted in us cancelling the table and walking 30yds to another establishment (Fouzis) where we had a lovely meal and were served by very friendly staff. Very poor customer relations.

   We had a group meal here (15 of us) and the service was first rate. The food was very good and all agreed they had good food at a decent price. The ale was also very good with a choice of 4 some of which are not widely available. 5 of us went there again the following night and had a similarly good meal and service.

   Stayed at the hotel last night, the room was nicely decorated and very clean, couldn’t see in the mirror in the bathroom as it was way to high, needs to be lower. I like the fact that it is dog friendly as l have a dog of my own who l couldn’t bring with us as he is elderly. The breakfast was very good, the lady who served us was so lovely with excellent customer service. Only criticism was the parking which was away from the hotel and we had to pay for, if we had stayed for more than one night it would have added a fair amount to our stay.

   Nice pub, decent beer, friendly waitress. May have been a one off but there was a lengthy wait for food on Saturday, we cancelled our meal in the end.

   Visited here for evening meal,no booking required at the time (7pm-busy,but seated & served quickly) whilst staying in Llangollen. Decent food,selection & prices,friendly,efficient service.

   Barman was a sour faced rude fella. Smiling and being polite should be a pre requisite if you're facing paying customers visiting your town. Female good with the dreds. 'A smile a day' ....and all that mate !

   This place is interesting no carpark the staff do not talk to you in a way you want They expect you to find your room up 2 sets of stairs was told know breakfast no help were we could get on the next morning went downstairs to find we had to climb back again to the second floor for breakfast .was presented the bill in front of friends when having a quiet drink the night before check out . The restaurant was interesting not much choice if you like salad
