    A true gem of Glapwell — our go‑to local! Since moving to Glapwell, the Kwick‑Stop shop and Post Office has quickly become one of the best parts of the area. What makes it exceptional isn’t just the convenience - it’s the superb, welcoming family who run it. The husband‑and‑wife duo are the heart of the place, and genuinely nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Whether you’re popping in for a quick shop, collecting a parcel, or just grabbing a coffee, they treat every customer with warmth and care. Their son is equally brilliant, he never fails to greet you with a big smile and a cheery welcome, the kind that instantly lifts your day. The shop itself is fantastic: a bright, spotless, well laid‑out space with a surprisingly wide selection. Fresh breads, well‑priced wines, everyday groceries, greeting cards, treats, coffee on tap - they somehow manage to stock everything from dishwasher rinse aid to fresh loaves, I can’t recall a time they didn’t have what we needed. We first visited for Amazon and Royal Mail pickups, which they handle with absolute accuracy and ease, and before long it became our regular stop — now used most days. It’s rare to find a local shop that gets everything right, but Kwick‑Stop truly does. A wonderful family business, a brilliant community hub, and an absolute credit to Glapwell. Highly recommended.

    Randomly remembered that I've not left a review even though its my local so here we are. New owners are lovely (not so new now tbh) and always smiling and friendly, with good deals on different products. Glad we have a local shop/shopkeepers that are this pleasant

    In the mid 1990s my sister went to buy candles from here during a power cut. The owners had upped the price of the candles to make extra money. To this day she becomes incensed with rage at even the mention of the shop in Glappy. I'm sure the owners have long gone, but I for one will NEVER let this go and will take the grudge to my grave. Good crisp selection

    Shop keeper had no interest in serving us at all. Never said a word of English to us. Asked for a bag and got blatantly ignored. Terrible service, won't come again
