The store is OK but some staff seem to like telling tales about people. The petrol station is a classic example. There are some great staff there but there are a lot in a certain click that are not nice. I blame management for this not managing. These people are spoiling what is a good store.

We bought 3 items with yellow discounted labels. But still got charged the full price. Not happy. Still lesson learned... check the receipt before leaving the store. Don't wait until you get home...

Popped in to get a weekly shop..nothing on the shelves on a Saturday 1pm!..as you enter, straight in front of you is the fruit and veg department then noticed hardly any fresh fruit and veg products even basic things like, grapes and potatoes, next no packed meats, pies, yogurts, cheeses this is the front of shop (that's where the impressions are made about the quality of the shop begins) futher into the shop all the main freezers empty but had plenty of bags of ice for sale..waste of time left the trolley and walked out, ended up going to aldi down the road..yes aldi don't sell well know brands but the shelves were full and being constantly refilled..and tesco wonder why they struggle to compete with other companies loads of staff but no basic food items..lost another customer..aldi from now on.

First time visiting tesco at Hoyland today. To be honest it was a bit of a waste of time. On the hottest day ever 37 degrees, I wanted a fan and a paddling pool for my granddaughter. Unfortunately they didn't have either. It also looked as though the display fridges and freezers had broken / stopped working and the staff were putting up barriers and emptying freezers (poor people of all days for it to happen). A very small store, I was a little disappointed.

Wasn’t allowed to but alcohol even though I had my ID because I’m nearly 19 but my boyfriend didn’t have his and because of this and the ‘group’ we were in a group is more than three, there was two of us. Not to mention my mother went in after staying in the car with my nephew and went in with my boyfriend and didn’t even challenge her. Like an 18 year old can adopt, own a house, vote etc…and all we got told was because it was a new policy like what?

Amazing place they their are massive Iles so you can still social distance from other shops and the price of everything is really cheap compared to other stores the staff is friendly at the supermarket and if you ever need any help working the self service machines generally they have some one their that can help. The supermarket sells everything that you would want for a typical family meal

Nice store and usually well stocked. Unfortunately, none mask wearers are unchallenged and this is very frustrating for normal shoppers. A the start of the pandemic there was a 'meet & greet' system. This needs to be put back in place and masks given to none wearers! Omicron is more infectious and masks should be worn!
