My rant is around the disabled parking facilities at the store. I visited today and counted 4 transit vans with no disabled badges, 2 cars with no badges and 2 large 4x4 pick ups with no badges. Why can they not have clamp and release to monitor the situation and make it easier for people who really need to use these parking bays, thank you.
Mens jeans selection is quite limited as there are many sizes not in stock or not on display,does not seem to have much choice of larger waist sizes
Never known a shop worse for stock and inflating prices, always empty isles, and unsuitable substitutes when I’ve placed home delivery. Went in last night to find a disgusting mound of frozen foods littered into an empty freezer, which even if broken, it should’ve been emptied and cleaned more urgently. Prices fluctuate drastically between visits, and Tesco is now much cheaper and nicer to shop at.
Efficient service, asked a store assistant for help and taken to the exact product I wanted. She was lovely, chatty and smiled all the time. Quickly through checkout and parked right outside the entrance. All done in 15 minutes. Hassle free.
Never any trolleys. If you go less than an hour before closing they lock what trolleys there are up. If you're still in the shop with 15 minutes to go, staff members hound you to go to the checkout -4 on this occasion! When you get to the checkout they want you to use self service. They refuse to take soft plastic recycling. There are always cars belonging to single people parked in the parent and child spaces while they get cash. This is neither monitored or policed. Some staff are cheery and pleasant, but others clearly couldn't care less. Asda train your staff better and motivate them. (pay decent people decent pay to do the job instead of the rude ones you get in.)
Absolutely disgusting.. I visited Asda Carcroft this afternoon and needed to visit the ladies toilets … I found them in a terrible state … cubicle 1 out of order , cubicle 2 flooded and the floor and toilet seat covered in urine and cubicle 3 in a similar state . Really Asda I’m sure you can do much better I’ve never entered such a poorly maintained service .
The whole experience on Monday 5th December at 1500 was very unsatisfactory from the checkout process to the security on the door. The trolley bay had a scam on the pound system where the individual had tampered with the trolley lock so it would not give up the pound coin when returned to the bay, he was equipped with a implement to remove the coin. Not good enough Asda at all. Had a conversation with the GM Who said that he accepted the service was not great and would look into the complaint. I will not be paying any further visits to your establishment. Not even a bunch of flowers for the embarrassing experience, just a brush off.
First visit to this store and I'm shocked. Store layout is bazzare. And car park I'd terrible, no where near enough lighting and store sign unlit making it impossible to find entrance with out following someone else to it. Will not be visiting here again
Twice now we have visited and there were no trollies without waiting for someone to return one. It's a case of survival of the fittest as the less able customers wait near the door, while able bodied customers patrol the car park looking for an unsuspecting customer unloading their trolley so they can pounce £1 in hand to get a trolley. Meanwhile others try to do a weekly shop with baskets and a toddler in their arms, while another young mum leaves the store with her child sat in the trolley (not the seat) along with her three items of shopping. Self service tills out of order. Chap cleaning the fans on fridges and brushing the dust all over fresh food.
Great size carpark, good selection of food and other items. Clothing available with quite a decent selection for men, women and children. The only really annoying thing is everytime I visit there's never any trolleys. All the trolley bays in the carpark are empty too. So it's a case of hunting down customers with trolleys who are leaving store
