**edit : i see many people have experienced the same level of service by the older man as me** I encountered an exceptionally poor customer service experience at a Tesco store. The manager, an older gentleman, was extremely rude. I approached him to enquire about a large Costa Coffee which had been filled only halfway. He refused to refund me for the difference and insisted that the measurement was as per Costaβs policy. I declined to pay and left the store. This incident has highlighted the poor customer service offered at this particular Tesco. I have previously visited for a meal deal only to discover that it did not include vanilla syrup, unlike other supermarkets in the area. Furthermore, the sandwich selection is limited and consists of identical options. This is the most disappointing Tesco I have ever visited.

Nice store, but a there is a man usually on the till, small with grey hair, very rude and cold, repeatedly ids my son for energy drinks when he clearly is above 16. Definitely a case of small man syndromeβ¦

Not a bad little store, for your bits and bobs. However, there's is staff member who has a small man syndrome (grey hair 5ft guy called JASON). Never says please/ thank you ,when serving and seems grumpy and moody ,unless you're a female or Caucasian skin colour he'll be ok with you. Noticed that a few more then a few occasions ,when visiting.

Horrendous prices and queues even longer now that some genius decided to reduce the number of tills.

Reopened today and the store looks great , friendly staff good to be back open ,might be a little more than other shops but it's handy for things and in walking distance

OK for convenience but very pricey for a Tesco!! Not much of a good selection either and lots of miserable staff. I'm disappointed as its local to me but sometimes I drive past and go to the Selly Oak store which is much better!!

Great local shop. Long opening hours with good choice and friendly staff. Short waits and staff quickly open extra checkout when needed.

They should have an express queue for people buying fuel. On numerous occasions during peak times has there been a line of inconsiderate morons doing a weekly shop! This place really shows the absolute lack of common sense possessed by too many people. Also the sandwich section is often desolate. Friendly staff.

This joke of a Tesco store fails on all levels, regularly having low levels or no fresh produce, including basics like potato, carrot, bread (depicted), milk.... fridges and freezers break down often. Stock is piled up in random places. Staff block the aisles and are unfriendly and unhelpful. Queues at the checkout are common and no self-checkout option exists. The Tesco pay app scanner is temperamental as is the contactless meaning if you havenβt got cash you may struggle. The manager sits around and takes no action. The trainees are sadly taught by the worst of the other staff, including the most unpleasant staff member who Iβve seen promoted inexplicably! Iβve fed back to Tesco repeatedly and nothing ever changes. My advice... if you can go elsewhere, do, like the few staff who had any degree of customer service about them. Otherwise take a deep breath and hope! Good luck.
