Visited the store Saturday evening…. All the staff seemed so fed up. I’m not surprised I would be…. Zero ambience, it was cold & when I stood in line at the checkout it was freezing! Colder than outside & it’s the 29th November! The staff said it was the air conditioning! Turn it off guys & let’s your staff feel some warmth.

Had to re-review. It's not what it was but I gather that's across the whole network. Cut backs, closures, changes. I no longer buy hot food since it's now sat there in little self serve compartments. Seems a lot just sits there and people are opening the doors all the time. Quality has suffered. Staff are ALWAYS in the way of customers stacking these days. Quality of fresh fruit and veg is awful. It's pointless buying it unless you intend to eat it all the same day and often on the turn in the baskets anyway. There's too much of this rubbish today. Either run a quality supermarket and provide everything people need or don't. I'm sick of supermarkets scaling back on quality, staff and services. I don't shop here anymore despite it being the nearest supermarket to my home. I'd rather travel an extra 20 minutes and come back with better quality from elsewhere, naming no names. I've just edited, changing to one star. After filtering the reviews here, I can see Morrisons only respond to customers positive reviews, there's not a single negative review with any follow up which speaks volumes about how much they give a damn.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience – won’t be returning Me and my partner stopped off at the Morrisons Café in Huddersfield during a long drive, hoping for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the whole experience was a letdown from start to finish. When we arrived, there were no staff at the counter, so we used the self-service machine to place and pay for our order. After waiting around for someone to acknowledge us, a staff member eventually came over – only to tell us to help ourselves to the cake we’d ordered (which wasn’t even there!) and make our own drinks at the coffee machine. To make matters worse, the cake we’d ordered wasn’t actually in stock, but the machine still let us buy it. We had to pick something else instead, and the replacement cake was awful – dry, tasteless, and with a strange, heavy texture, almost like tar. We barely managed one bite before leaving it uneaten. The whole setup felt disorganised, unwelcoming, and poorly managed. If this is the standard Morrisons Café thinks is acceptable, it really needs a serious rethink. Definitely won’t be stopping here again.

One Star (Because I Cannot Do Zero) This review is based entirely on the Café and no reflection on the main store. High chairs unclean Tea / coffee cups unclean Cutlery unclean Tables . . . . You've guessed it, unclean I used to really be impressed with the breakfasts at Morrisons, good value for money, well cooked, good sized portions, friendly staff. All different now and in a very short space of time (about two years). The food was terrible, I'm not a snob but I do expect some basics: Sausages, bacon, hash browns and black pudding looked and tasted like it was cooked via a nuclear explosion, to say it was burnt and over cooked is sugar coating it. Childrens waffles, greasy yet overcooked. Baked beans were dry (how is this even possible). A real shame and I hope things improve, but for now a local Café would be a better choice (maybe even a truck stop would serve better food).

Great big supermarket, from grocery to pet food, clothing and other home and garden items, you can find here. Massive free car park. Petrol station right next to the shop.

Quick visit for fruit and flowers, no problems. Must say though the cafe needs sorting out, once again we failed to eat our food before it went cold, no one came to the order point, they saw me with money in my hand ready to pay, had to try and negotiate your horrible touch screen. Is it just this stores cafe that is poor, been in others and the food is miles better, still warm to the last mouthful.

Morrisons has always been my go to supermarket but is getting more expensive than Sainsburies even. Think they need to expand their veggie section too. Clothes are a little staid and boring and not a lot of choice. Their alcohol sections seems to be taking up the space more and more! I used to love going to the cafe. Not any more though. Its a pain to use. Not enough staff to serve you and the coffee bar at the front? What's the point of that when there's never anyone there! The coffee is better from there but you have to pay separately.

Ordered platters online for a party, beautiful food, very well presented, ready to collect at the arranged time, excellent value for money will definitely order again
