Failed to deliver my Christmas shopping even though booked weeks in advance no alternative option just cancelled. Offered to collect or open to a different day but no it was to difficult. Customer service cut me off as I had the wrong case number after just being given it appalling customer care
Parking is great for disabled and able bodied people. The shop felt like there was a lot going on and not many customers. Shelves were being sorted so cannot honestly answer about tidiness
I had an issue regarding baby milk today, phoned the store to explain anticipating it would likely be a return and refund situation. Not only was the lady I spoke to very empathetic and apologetic, but she went above and beyond sending a replacement and goodwill gestures to my house within 2 hours of the initial call. This is what exceptional customer service looks like. Bravo and thank you for resolving so promptly.
So sad to witness a large display of dead & dying plants when all they need is care & water!! Such neglect!
Ok so I do like this store, but I’m really uneasy about being glared at by security when I enter, it puts me on edge. Whilst I appreciate the incident I encountered in the aisle where three members of staff where filling shelves was an accident and the member of staff apologised immediately, I would prefer it the staff wouldn’t block aisles and were more aware of customers. As a whole the store is normally fine but encountering 2 incidents on my last visit wasn’t ideal. Currently 3hrs free parking until 2nd February 2025.
The shopping experience at this store is excellent. However, Waitrose, please upgrade the toilet facilities.
Nice friendly shop. Quality produce and always a few bargains. Good fresh fish counter too.

My partner and I use Waitrose for odds and ends that we usually forget from our big shop as it is very close to where we live. This evening we popped in just to grab some desert and a bottle of wine for the evening. I was outraged how the security guard followed us round the entire shop as we were browsing. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a supermarket in my entire life! Very unprofessional and judgemental. It has really put me off using the shop again.
Always quality goods and amazingly kindly partners.l want to hold a party for them on my narrowboat moored on the lovely canal nearby. Top drawer.
