I am a person who usually uses Vue due to my love for cinema. I left this time with a very poor experience. I went to Vue on Friday 5th December and tried to buy a voucher worth Β£20, Vue took my money and I then spent an hour waiting at the desk, whilst they tried to void my payment due to their system being faulty when transferring my money onto the voucher. I received no compensation and I also went away with Β£20 less than I had and a "sorry". I am a student and I do not have much money and at Christmas especially this is not acceptable. I was told by the manager you should receive it back into your account in the next couple of days. The manager gave me a ticket with the date of the transaction, the time of it and how much i had paid. I was told to ring this number if my payment did not come back. 3 Days went by and I did not receive the payment, I called on 9th December and a member of the team told me to wait till Friday 12th December of that week as I needed to wait 3 to 5 working days. I understood and waited till Friday, no money came in. It is now 7 working days since the transaction. I called today on 16th December and I was told that there was no record of my transaction and I am now having to sort this matter out with my bank. Thank you for nothing and for the customer support on the phone call of "Email our investigation team, they will help you". I will not be using Vue again!

A young girl called Abby was fantastic at sorting our tickets out for Predator Badlands! You need more staff like her! Kind, helpful and top notch customer service. Thanks again Abby!!

We went to the Vue today and we’re so impressed with the seating and layout - the seats are lovely and comfortable and fully adjustable; and there is plenty of room for other customers to walk down the rows without disturbing you.

I went expecting some mediocre cinima and what do I find there there are confy recliner seats with small tables that can move the room is really quite and dark and the seats are positioned where you can't see the heads if people infront of you. The food us quite expensive but the popcorn is amazing the staff are really kind and helpful

My boyfriend and I went to see the new Superman movie today, apart from the air conditioning being broken on a 30 degree day it was a good movie experience. The food service before the movie was absolutely fine and went really smoothly, even when scanning our tickets. I would give this a 2 star but hoping a 1 star might get some more attention. There was a lady working at the ticket stand when we left the movie and I have had previous experiences with her where she has been obnoxious and patronising. She is always shouting at people and my boyfriend even overheard her complaining loudly about customers to other customers. We came out of the movie ready to throw our food in the bin. Firstly, we were debating what to throw away and she just watched us do it which was very uncomfortable. Then she proceeded to tell us that the tango ice blast cup we had was refillable which we didn’t ask for. We went to go and fill it back up, but she followed us over and told us off ridiculously loudly and rudely as if both of us must’ve misheard her and it was in fact not refillable. This was just so embarrassing for us and definitely not how we wanted to end our positive experience. I really hope this gets some attention because I have always had awful experiences with her. Unfortunately, I do not have a name but hope to find out soon, she had a very short hair cut, a loud screechy voice and glasses I think. I want to finish this off by saying I hope I never see her again as she should absolutely not be working on a face to face basis with customers.

When it comes to seeing new releases, this is my cinema of choice. Much much cheaper than Odeon, and I've often found I've had a much better experience at Vue than I have at Odeon, too. Friendly staff, and great value for money. What else do you need?

Really lovely cinema, excellent price for tickets. The auditorium is very well kept and clean. Prices of refreshments/snacks ice-creams are extortionate, dearer than the price to see the film. My advice is to take your own sweets and treats.

Went to see the 3D version of Avatar: The Way of Water. The 3D was exceptional, the Β£2 glasses were comfy. The theatre itself was clean and the seats clearly signed with lights on the steps so you didn't fall down or trip up. I had a large popcorn but won't be again for the simple fact it took me the whole 4hrs ( yes it's a long film ) to eat it. Popcorn itself is lovely. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent value for money, comfy seats with plenty of leg room and 3 hours free parking too! Perfect afternoon out. Pity some people can't be quiet during the film

This is my favourite place to watch a movie, as it costs around 5.99 to watch a movie. You can book tickets online, it costs Β£1 for more comfy seats. It is located in a decent place, Odeon Is closer to the train station, but it costs a bit more for a better experience. Overall I choose Vue as it is cheaper, and closer to the shops than other cinemas.
