   My dad had cataract surgery in November, they gave him eye drops containing a medication he is severely allergic too and there is flagged in his NHS notes. He suffered extreme symptoms and discomfort off the back of this. Had to call the emergency line and take him in urgently due to the side effects, that’s when the staff discovered their mistake of giving him the wrong medication. Went back today for a follow up appointment, the reception staff were friendly but the optometrist walked in an hour late, the appointment was at 11:20 and was seen at 12:40. Patients were all left in the corridor waiting for her. The nurses were tying their best to comfort everyone by offering hot drinks. When she finally did arrive, she walked past all the patients with no explanation or appology at all.

   I cannot recommend highly enough I was absolutely terrified but from going to the reception desk to book in to having the drops put in my eye and having the surgery everyone was so lovely all the nurses was lovely and the surgeon was 100% made me feel so relaxed thankyou to everyone from the bottom of my heart

   Recently I had my cataract removed at SpaMedica in Bradford. I am amazed the whole procedure was very speedy and painless. I am so pleased with the results and noticed how much my vision improved immediately after the surgery. The staff at hospital were friendly, efficient and most competent.

   If there is more than 5 star rating , i will definitely do it I had an amazing experience! . From the nurses, receptionists, consultants , to Howard and the other one who meets and greets us. The waiting time is wonderful .I had my cataract surgery both eyes and didn't wait for a long time and in 2 months time they are both done .Now I can live a normal life with a very good vision .Thank you Spamedica .Highly recommend to everyone .
