   We were recommended by a delightful gentleman who came as a customer to our store and informed us about renovations to their salon. I took my mother to the salon and she was very thankful and she really enjoyed the experience. Would definitely be coming back.

   I recently got my hair cut by (I believe her name is Namrak—apologies if I got that wrong!) and I just have to say, she is incredibly good at what she does. You can tell right away that she has a real passion for her work, and her technique is absolutely top-tier.I went in for a layered cut with curtain bangs, and she completely nailed the look. Highly, highly recommend her if you're looking for someone who truly knows what they're doing and clearly loves doing it.

   My first visit to this Salon was last year 2024. I loved my haircut and it was done professionally and with great attention to detail. I highly recommended them. I was happy id finally found a proper place that can cut hair ans observes hijab! My visit this year 2025 couldn't have been any different. I had a different stylist from my first trip - which I did not mind. I had a bob cut from medium length hair which took approximately between 5 to 7 minutes (I had a wet cut) I dont mind that it was done quickly but it was the lack of love and attention. It was literally one cut with scissors all the way round, never to be touched again - which i found abit weird but did not say anything as I am not a hairdresser. I gave her benefit of the doubt. When I got home and inspected my new haircut, I had longer odd strands of hair, clearly visible had my hair been brushed with attention (like hairdressers do taking their time). I had to cut these strands myself. My bob is longer on one side :( I was really very disappointed and upset. I had fed this back to the salon and they apologised I felt this way and had asked me to return so that they could Inspect and correct. They also told me my hairdresser was the most experienced in the salon :/ this may be true but she certainly did not pay any attention and love to my hair. I was rushed....it was a quick cut and go. This was totally opposite of what I had experienced from my trip to this salon. I did not want to return as i live out of town and also did not want another disaster so kindly declined their offer to return. I wont be returning to this salon again and will giving an honest review to those that ask. I will wait for my bob to grow out and get this done properly. If you have a particular stylist that you like there, stick with them and ask for them specifically.

   I can’t thank this salon enough for fitting me in last minute! Their hospitality was so warm and kind from the moment we walked in. A friend recommended them to me, and I’m so glad she did—they even managed to see both me and my mum on the same day a day before the event!We both left feeling so well taken care of and absolutely loving our hair. They did my hair exactly the colour I wanted and I absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!

   Today was the second time I went to Al Amira salon for a balayage and without a doubt it’s one of the best salons, especially one being hijabi friendly. The manager Heba treated me so well, putting so much time and effort and love in my hair, leaving me with the results I wanted whilst ensuring my hair stays healthy (as it’s thin). I wish I could show how amazing the balayage turned out both times but unfortunately since I wear the hijab I can’t, because it’s honestly so gorgeous and I’m getting compliments for it left right and centre

   I’ve been a regular customer at this salon for a few years now and I really recommend them! Friendly, clean and professional environment. I especially love the relaxing room for facials. I also take my 2 young daughters often for haircuts and the staff are so lovely and gentle with kids. Highly recommend!

Not just her but the staff working were absolutely polite and the service was great.    Al Amira Beauty Salon My mummy’s usual hairdressers has not yet reopened after the relaxing of the Corona virus lockdown. Taking up a Groupon voucher she opted for a colour, cut and blow-dry at Al Amira Beauty Salon, which resides on Belmont circle in Stanmore. They even took my temperature as well as Mummy Debra’s. I don’t think they had ever taken a teddy bear’s temperature before, so it must have been something quite special! Mummy was assigned a lovely lady named, Ashwaq. She was polite, not phased by a talking teddy bear, and seemed to sense that neither Mummy nor I wanted to answer endless questions. So hairdressers just don’t stop with the questions! It can be like the Spanish Inquisition going to a hairdresser! With its subdued lighting, turquoise and white pillars and a charming white horse on the wall, Al Amira is a little different from the usual overlit modern salons. Thankfully there was no loud pop music, instead relaxing music that may have been Arabic, at a comfortable volume. No men are permitted into the salon, but being a teddy bear my maleness was overlooked! Mummy Debra was happy with her cut colour and she almost looked beautiful after!
