I got my haircut with Nora and she was absolutely amazing! She not only listened to what I wanted, but also encouraged me to try something new. I’ve always wanted a fringe, but I have a small forehead and every hairstylist in the past told me they didn’t recommend it. Nora said, “Let’s do it - if we don’t try, we won’t know,” and I’m so glad she did! I love the results. The fringe looks great, I finally look different in the way I wanted, and she made the whole experience so positive. Thank you, Nora! ✨
I had my first wash cut and blow dry at Central Studios last week, and Andy is absolutely amazing! I was hesitant to try somewhere new but this was genuinely the best cut and blow dry I’ve had. The finish was flawless and it lasted so long! Andy really took the time to understand what I wanted and shared his advice which gave a beautiful cut. I will most definitely be back! They also do nails in the salon so I will be trying that next, thanks Andy!

My hair has never looked straighter, smoother, or healthier. Andy was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also so warm and welcoming, making the whole appointment feel relaxing and enjoyable. Having been with my previous hairdresser for 10 years, I was a little anxious about jumping ship but I am so glad I did. Iva was my hair stylist. After some discussion about what look I was aiming for, I put myself into what turned out to be a very capable pair of hands. I am absolutely delighted with my new hairstyle and will definitely be returning. Added to all of this, the salon had a very nice ambience, all the staff were friendly and it was very clean. Sev is a great hairdresser. She does exactly what you want. Both her highlighting skills and cutting skills are brilliant. My hair can be quite fine and flat looking but she always manages to make it look amazing and the effect lasts too and it looks good for quite some time. I can highly recommend her.
I got my first hair cut here in on Monday 18/07. The hairdresser who cut my hair was friendly and seemed very experienced. I had mid length hair all of one length and requested that the hairdresser just take off the bare minimum to keep it looking healthy and fresh. The hairdresser asked if I wanted layers, and I responded that I had previously had longer layers put in but that I found them difficult to make look right with my hair type. She advised that because of the slight waves in my hair that some shorter layers would give my hair more volume and would look good, as the hairdresser seemed knowledgeable i put aside my reservations and trusted her. She spent a long time blow drying it and I was quite happy with it when I left, but I’ve now washed it twice and am really disappointed with the cut. The top layers of my hair created a “mushroom” effect as they didn’t seem to be blended into the longer sections of hair (see photos) and I couldn’t style this out by curling, straightening or blow drying my hair. I returned on Saturday (23/07) to talk to the hairdresser but she wouldn’t take any responsibility, saying there was no issue with the cut and it wasn’t their problem. They refused to refund me so that I could go elsewhere and get it fixed and only offered to blow dry it for me. This really wasn’t the resolution I had hoped for and left really unhappy. My boyfriend saw how upset I was and returned to the salon to discuss this with the manager, and instead had three stylists aggressively disagree with him and told him it was not their problem if I didn’t like my hair or was upset about both the hair and their customer service. They compared getting a new haircut based off a stylists recommendation to getting pesto at a restaurant when I had never tried it before… well I wouldn’t be happy if I had tried it based on a professionals recommendation and had to wait 4/5 months for the visible effects of said pesto to subside, as I will have to wait at least 4/5 months for my shortest layers to grow out to my previous length, or go and get all my hair chopped to the same length as my shortest layer! As well as this, the hairdresser didn’t offer me the 20% discount for first time customers which is advertised in their window, and didn’t mention that I’d have to pay in cash until after the cut had been done. I felt as though I had done the right thing by going back to the salon to discuss it with them rather than leaving a review, but as there was no offer to refund or fix it, only to blow dry it I felt I had no other choice. Really disappointed with both cut and customer service now, and I would recommend thinking twice about their recommendations.
