I've had years of experience with the hospital, The lifts are not it. But this review is strictly for the Rhematology department. I'm very happy that I am in the safe hands of Dr. Khalid, This doctor has been ever so nice and always helped me out with my joints even if I'm contacting the nurses, She figures out a plan and gets me an urgent appointment. But also the other staff members there are ever so sweet and the emergency bell hit, About 20 doctors and nurses ran to it, Not like some other departments that don't take things so seriously.

Was sent to outpatient phlebotomy to get my bloods taken, and it was the fastest most efficient service I've ever received at a hospital. I only waited about 10 minutes even though i had 12 people before me in the queue, my plebotomist was super lovely, I was in and out in under 20 mins.

I've been to the Royal Hallamshire today for my annual glaucoma check. The staff there are exceptional. Although the clinic was very busy, they were kind, caring and very professional. The Royal Hallamshire are very lucky to have them as employees.

I went in for double jaw surgery on 22/8/25. The whole surgical admissions and surgical team were exceptional. It was my first experience in hospital and I was pretty scared but from the moment I arrived to the moment I was back on the ward everybody was beyond kind and helpful. I felt safe and as at ease as could be.

I have been on your ward today and cannot give you all enough praise for making my experience so good . I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks and need someone with me at all times you gave me the courage to let my daughter go home for that I can't thankyou enough. And Margaret and (tea lady) sorry forgot your name, were so good Margaret explained everything to me , and the lady made sure I ate to get my sugar levels up so I could go home . Professor Andrew hopper was brilliant I didn't feel a thing thankyou everyone xx

SO IRRESPONSIBLE !!!! I am scared of needles and I am already losing a lot of blood from my body as I have irregular periods because of PCOS and Thyroid. It was on 18th February, when I got my tests done as suggested by my GP and everything was fine and the service was quite quick and I was told that I will get my results by mid week. Now when I had my second appointment today with my GP (24/92/23), they said they will have to track my report down as it was still not here after ONE WHOLE WEEK!! Not to forget, I have been constantly calling my GP to track my reports. While I am going through a lot with my body, I was eagerly waiting for the results to come back so that I can start my medication. And then I just got a call from my GP that the Blood test was lost by the hospital because of some administrative issue and wrong labelling, and I will have to retake the test. I am really disappointed with this!!!

Just wanted to thank Royal Hallamshire Hospital - Sheffield for looking after my mum for the past couple of days, putting us both in patient accommodation to recover after her emergency retinal detachment surgery, and also getting her in for surgery SO quickly! She's really been well looked after by every single staff member we've encountered, from domestics to the surgeon. Thank you to everyone in the eye clinic and particularly the lady in pre-op assessment for sorting us with accommodation as we were unable to travel back and forth.

Transferred from Chesterfield Royal with a severe case of quinsy and blocked airway. All the staff in I1 were brilliant and thanks to the 2 consultants who sorted me out. A very scary ordeal made much less so by a great service.

Hospital staff, doctors and nurses that I have dealt with are fantastic. Second to none. A fantastic and well run hospital. The car park is another story entirely unfortunately. I don't know who the original architect was but designing it to have concrete pillars between each and every parking space when the spaces are already too small is just insane. They also fall right where your car door needs to open no matter which direction you face the car. In a nutshell: Amazing hospital & staff Car park architect, absolute gimp.
