   I'd not done business with T&G for many years but in the midst of the Covid-19 restrictions felt I should support my local merchant. I intended placing my order at the Tattenhall branch by phone. The call was connected immediately with a recorded message explaining that there may be delays. The call quickly transferred, I placed my order and paid by card, I was given a timed collection slot. When I arrived I phoned (not knowing the procedure). Someone met me, loaded my vehicle and handed me the receipted invoice. ) I could have saved a few pounds visiting a 'DIY supermarket' but would have had to queue and risk contact with other shoppers. The price I paid actually represented good value in terms of my health, and support of a local business/employer. I was very pleased with my experience.
