Saira was FANTASTIC! I went in without an appointment and not only did she accommodate me, she did an excellent job as well! I got a blowout and facial waxing, and I tell you, it didn’t hurt at all! 10/10, highly recommend.
I had my eyebrows done by saira the first time it was excellent, I loved it. But the second time was a disaster. She rushed it and didn't care whether I was happy with it or not. They panic when they have other customers waiting and don't know how to manage customer expectations. Saira was about to colour another customer's hair but said she was available to do my eyebrows first. I would have preferred her to be honest and say she was busy, but instead she just rushed my eyebrows making them uneven and ugly. I wasted money getting them ruined in this place. I also saw her open hair clips using her mouth and clipping them onto a customers hair. The owner and his wife are lovely and they do try, but I doubt anyone in this shop is professionally trained - maybe the nail guy is
I usually don’t write reviews — but this experience was so bad, it can’t go unspoken. I visited Heavens Salon in Aldgate East for a simple hair wash and blow-dry. I was running late and specifically asked beforehand if they could do it quickly. Yasmin, the stylist, assured me it would be done in 30 minutes and confidently said, “I got you,” after I showed her a reference photo of the voluminous blowout I wanted. That gave me false hope. To be fair, the hair wash was thorough, and I appreciated that. But everything went downhill after that. Despite showing her exactly how I wanted my hair styled — voluminous and lifted — Yasmin didn’t use any mousse or volume-enhancing products. I reminded her again mid-process how I wanted it styled, and again she reassured me. But watching her technique, it became clear she wasn’t a trained professional. She used old, damaged brushes — one looked chewed up, and it ripped chunks of my hair out. I’ve been to many salons before and never once have I seen tools in that kind of condition. When it came to drying the roots — the most essential part for volume — she dried them down, flattening my hair, rather than lifting them up as a proper blow-dry requires. One side of my fringe was turned inward while the other side was curled awkwardly — there was no symmetry, no smooth finish, and absolutely no volume. I left looking like I’d been electrocuted — frizzy, sticky, uneven — far worse than when I walked in. The final straw? The price. The initial quote was £35, but after seeing the disaster on my head, I said I would pay £25, and that was me being generous. Yasmin replied, “30, I give £5 discount.” Seriously? Let me be clear: -She lied about her skills. -She damaged my hair. -She used poor-quality, unhygienic tools. -And she charged me for ruining my hair. The reason I’m writing this is not out of spite — it’s to warn others and to call out false advertising. If Yasmin had been honest and said she was still learning or wasn’t confident, I would’ve appreciated the honesty and lowered my expectations. But instead, I was misled. I lost my time, money, and trust, and I genuinely hope others don’t have to go through the same thing. If you care about your hair, avoid this place...
Came here today and last week - eyebrows, upper lip, and now pedicure. All staff are really lovely and knowledgeable about the service they are giving. I asked for advice on hair, and they gave really good advice, so I will come back for my hair and other services. Great place!
I have been here twice now. Adidi did my manicure very thorough. Amazing work in the gel in nails. Go compliments from my everyone even my friend thought I had fake nails. Going back each time
It was the worst massage I have ever had! The room is in a dingy basement with no music. The masseuse wore plastic gloves which is very strange, focused on weird places like my elbows and it didn't feel like a professional massage. She poured a load of massage oil in my hair and started rubbing it like you would wash your hair which I had to ask twice to stop. I contacted them directly before I wrote the review but they didn't get back to me. Don't waste your money here!
I booked an express facial and massage here last minute for a bit of self care. Maria was my therapist and she was amazing. Before we started, she asked me if there were any areas of the body she wanted me to focus on, and any skin concerns. She made me feel really comfortable in the room and encouraged me to relax. The massage was really great - not too soft, with the right amount of pressure. I wish I had booked it for longer! The facial was also lovely, and my skin felt really fresh and smooth afterwards. I went to Heavens beauty salon to get my eyelash extensions and WOW the lady did such a great job. Most happy i've ever been with my lashes- they are so full and long and exactly what i envisioned wanting. I've tried many eyelash salons but this topped it- affordable, long, fluffy lashes that have not budged or fallen out!! Will be going back soon for my infills :D Lauren
I went to this place 4 times. First time service was amazing therefore I came back few times. I have only did eyebrows threading service. Every time the price is different. For the same service I've paid £12, £8, £5, and today £10. There is always a different person on the till and they have no consistency on the price. Same with the girls that do treatments. First 2 times was great and they were very delicate and friendly. The other times I came back, they hurt me with the elastic band for threading. Cannot even touch my eyebrows they are red and swolen as they cathed the skin with the elastic multiple times. I will never come back and I'll never suggest this place to the neighbourhood.
