   me and a friend went to this place to get a full bikini wax after being recommended it by someone else and now i have boils filled with puss all over my vagina! and my friend has literally scabbing all over hers. these are the disgusting things i noticed but i was in too much pain whilst getting it done to comprehend whilst at the shop: 1- NO GLOVES WERE USED 2- she didn’t change the stick to apply the wax matter of fact didn’t change the stick or wax and double dipped on my friend 3- instead of giving me oil she gave me pre wax spray After my wax which led me screaming in pain which the owner and customers heard upstairs and the owner came running down asking if everything is ok. 4- this was the worst pain i have ever experienced she was EXTREMELY rough and didn’t even let me take a break my friend had to force her to stop 5- claims its ladies only but there was a man just strolling along the shop. 6- I was told it would cost £25 but i was charged £30 because apparently she took extra off from my thighs which was not reiterated to me before she did it 7- THERE IS STILL HAIR THERE I followed all pre and after care and i was so so sore to point where even putting water there hurt and my friend has scabbing all over! my friend then messaged the owner asking for a refund and she responded saying that it was because of the weather however it was literally 14 degrees in my city and did not acknowledge any of the other points and is now not replying. screen shots above! Honestly i would show you pictures if i could but the only way i can describe is really bad active acne filled with puss down there! save yourselfs!!!

   The most amazing woman - Sultana I came in today 30 mins late for my make-up appointment (after agreeing to opened up early for me) and although she had other people to deal with, she still kindly dealt with me. Sultana is such patient and lovely person and professional. I honestly don’t know how to repay her. She dealt with nervousness and anxiety in such a loving and professional way. I’m ever so grateful to you. Thank you

   Got a manicure and ended up with an infection! I went to get a manicure (shellac set). - The technique was questionable, I asked if this would last to which the lady agreed - that was a lie, 5 nails didn’t have polish by the end of the week and the rest followed - I had to ask the lady to not use to much force when pushing my cuticles back ( I have never had a painful manicure until now). - The cleanliness of the equipment + my cuticles being pushed so far back have equated to me having swollen finger with an infection. I really would NOT recommend this place!

   I am so upset of wasting my money here, came for a blow dry Nd she kept commenting on my hair cut and hair, then proceeded to comment in how tangly my hair are, made me comb them. Worst blow dry i have ever had, my ends are dry and spiked. I had to guide her on what to do and she charged me 25£ it wasn’t worth that price at all. Out of good will i paid her but honestly she didn’t deserve the money. I don’t recommend this place at all. She had and old brush she was using that had literally not bristles left, kept pulling my hair but blaming how my hair are very tangled. Literally I wanted a calm experience and it was a nightmare.

   The main owner, Sultana has excellent sharp eyebrow skills, i only ever ask after her. Previously with other practitioners my experience has not been the same. Been coming here for several years now. Sultana is welcoming, professional, and very hard working.

   My wife went in there some time back to get waxing and threading done. The salon is listed as ‘LADIES ONLY’ therefore my wife who wears a hijab taken it off during her treatment. Although no male customers were allowed in, the owners husband kept repeatedly coming into the salon whilst my wife had her hair exposed, I ask the owner this.. why advertise as ladies only when you are allowing your husband to walk freely in and out and not bothering at all? The experience made my wife very uncomfortable. I speak on behalf of the practising Muslim sisters that please be mindful of this when you’re running a ladies only business. Other than that the treatment itself was okay and satisfactory.

   I've been going to Sultana Saloon since 2012 mainly for body hair removal (waxing and threading) but also for facials and massage. Little place dedicated to treat females only where you are treated well and makes you feel at home. The services provided are very good and the prices reasonable. Can't wait to try the laser treatments and the sauna!!
