I had my hair appointment for a texture release. My hairdresser Christine was professional and welcoming and the salon ambience was calm. I was very pleased with the service provided and my hair looked great. Would highly recommend this hairdresser.
Always a pleasure to visit and get my hair done here. The professionalism , patience, experience, technique, service and expertise of Sandra and Chris clearly shows and cannot be faulted in my opinion.
Went Vanessa Andar yesterday for the first time for a wash & blow dry. The young lady Charisma (lives up to her name) really made me feel comfortable and relaxed, even had the decency to ask me if the water temp was okay as some hairdressers don't as my past experience with some black hairdressers, they are on the phone or shouting across the room to another colleague or friend which i find highly unprofessional and ghetto. She really massaged my scalp and washed my hair thoroughly. The other lady who blow dried my hair was nice and considerate as i mentioned to her please be gentle with my edges as its quite thin and she was really gentle & even used a small roller brush to dry them properly. The serum she used at the end she explained is to keep my colour protected as well as the fact that i am getting braids done on Monday, so the hair needs protecting with that. Overall had a nice experience, i may go again and i defo want Charisma to wash my hair!!
First time back here in 2 years. Was really disappointed by how I was treated. Stylist was late and in a bad mood. I asked her if she was ok because I felt very uncomfortable. She expressed her personal reasons however the vibe did not change. I get we all have bad days but its still a service. Left feeling very upset. I expect 5* service especially if im spending over £100. If you choose to book I will suggest book with Sandra (Head Stylist/CEO) she is GREAT she’s welcoming, transparent and overall good energy, good vibes and the salon is nice.
Talented hairdresser, I was impressed by the techniques used by Vanessa to blow-dry my hair. Minimal direct heat was used and this meant no heat damage. Looking forward to my next visit!
Great service today. No waiting around. Polite and friendly staff. Lovely ambience. Had a brilliant set, blow dry and cut by Vanessa who is at the top of her game. She also took the time to take pictures , so I could send to my most discerning daughter: who gave her wholehearted approval! Enough said!!
I had a retouch, trim and style. The service was acceptional from the owner, from my understanding she has been doing this a while which showed in her professionalism, quality of products and service, knowledge, pace of work and end result. The rest of the staff were also lovely and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Vanessa Andar to others.
I like Vanessa Andar hair salon a lot . She is very caring and always making sure that I am comfortable and well cared for. I think it's the smile and the welcome I received soon i walk through the door, and I know for sure that she is like that to everyone who comes to her business. The only thing I would say not so positive is that you are very expensive and the hair styling is a bit old fashioned. But if I have somewhere special to go i would definitely pay Vanessa Andar a visit.
Going to get my hair done today, was as per usual, a good experience. Especially so because it’s my first visit after the recent lockdown and my hair needed some of Sandra’s magic touch. I can honestly say that I’m a customer for life. Today was Sandra’s 24 years anniversary for having the salon and I wish her another 24 years and more. Jenny Johnson
