   Attended an event 02/12/2025 disappointed in an under statement. Short staffed, waiting over an hour for food, food was cold. I complained to managers at the time and they were no interested. I emailed my complaint when I returned home which I was advised a manager would contact me were now on 27/12/2025 and I havent had any correspondence from a manager. This is evidence that they do not care about customer service and only want people's money. Never had an issue previously but this time it was a right shambles.

   I had my wedding here yesterday. The wedding team were absolutely amazing. Helped me at every step and went above and beyond to make our day so special. I would highly recommend this location as a wedding spot. Meal was lovely, service was excellent, staff were so helpful, rooms lovely and it made my day the best it could have been. It was really good value too.

   Visited for a family meal.. the main restaurant is very spacious and play areas for younger kids. Food and drink ordered at bar which was ok but can be queing. I think they may do table service. For table of 20 ordering all food came out pretty much same time so that was well planned and managed. No issues or errors so good staff and helpful. I'd say food was pretty good. Seems costly but big portions and plenty of choice. I ordered salmon dish £18.50.

   Ideally located for our trip, all of the staff we met were extremely friendly from the cleaners to the reception and bar staff, they really were very helpful with any needs we had. The leisure facilities were top notch and very clean. The hotel is a bit out from the town so we stayed around every evening which wasn't an issue as the food was excellent. Highly recommend a stay here and should my work bring me back that direction I will be staying there again.

   Went here for a meal with my wife and a friend. A little bit out in the country. Looks to be quite new very spacious Ample parking. Good menu our meals were very good. Good food. Friendly helpful chatty staff. Would be more than happy to return

   New years eve packages, great food staff amazing, had attended in 2019 and 2018 Very disappointed with the entertainment. Sound system was so bad , too loud , booked as it was a band , No band , 2 singers who were at best karaoke, couldn't understand what they were saying, left before midnight, Dj poor , too loud and should realise that he had a microphone and shouting is not necessarily the way to communicate, poor choice of music , late with the New Year ! bed at 12.30 as couldn't take any more , Thank goodness for the staff and food .

   Food was lovely but the the customer service was shocking my brothers girlfriend is pregnant and she could only eat and drink certain food and pop as she most stuff dosent agree with her at the moment so she fetched a bottle of lucozade we had starters and there was no prob but when they come with food they started saying she couldnt have this drink on table and confiscated when we tried to explain they got a little rude about it when complaint he was told we should of noted them before hand has they could of got some in for her but how the hell would was we suppose to know that we was not told the terms and conditions for it. Also we had to ask a couple of time as we had items missing like gravy for mains and the cream/milk for the coffees it was like know one knew what they were doing. The only staff that was friendly was the 2 ladies at the bar near entrance the rest of staff need to learn from these 2. Its a shame i had to write this as we been coming here for past few years and never had any problems before

   The worst experience of hospitality we have ever had! While attending my sisters wedding booked at this venue, my disabled brother had a bottle of alcohol intended as a gift for the happy couple taken from a gift bag and "confiscated" by a member of staff claiming to be the owner, he was very distressed and explained his condition even enduring the embarrassment of showing her his medication with the intention of ensuring her that it was a gift and to show he had no intention of drinking it on the premises (he is alcohol intolerant) he politely tried to explain The the bottle of vodka was sealed unopened and in a gift bag under his place at the meal table! but she just attacked him verbally and called him a liar! Insisting he was going to drink it! And refused to give it back! even on his departure which ended up being a lot earlier than intended because he was so upset and traumatised she still refused to give it back ! So to avoid causing a scene and spoiling my sisters big day I myself returned the following morning to retrieve the gift and to raise a complaint but was also met with a barrage of accusations and abuse from the same so called "lady owner"! Now I'm no hotelier or even business owner but I do know that is no way to great and treat your guests! The majority of staff there are also rude, dismissive and extremely arrogant most of which look like children or at least very young but clearly have no or very little experience in hospitality! I would strongly advise anyone looking to book any kind of function at this venue to think twice! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!

   Attended for a wedding and the service was impeccable from start to finish. From the Thursday night in the bar with excellent pub food and a really good quiz, to the wedding on the Friday which could not be faulted for organisation, food and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone
