   Absolutely brilliant my partner & myself travel from Walton in the Naze for James’s expertise - I also recommended a friend who was a hairdresser for many years who has now been using James for a few years now. My partner has ling hair and managed to give him a cut that took 5yrs off him. James cuts & couloirs my hair perfectly every time.

   I've had my children's hair cut by James for several years, and I've always been so pleased with their cuts, and the children have enjoyed chatting with James and his team, its such a friendly salon. James is a great hairdresser, I would recommend him to anyone. James did a full head of foils on my hair this week, and I am very pleased with the results.

   Very good and professional. Took my mother for a wash, cut and dry. The hair stylist was very observant to our cultural needs and made my mother feel very welcome and at ease. Will take her back again for her next cut!

   Pleasant staff, but had my hair bleached and my scalp burned , now is all flaky and still hurts after one week, be careful ! I will not return unfortunately the damage of my hair is terrible not just my scalp but the blending of the hair is far from a proffesional one.

   Not a good place: Gonna sound petty but I wasn't even offered coffee however the next customer walked in she was offered one. Didn't even show me what the back looks like - when I came home I realised that I look like 11 year old girl that goes to churh every Sunday ( I am a 29 year old male) So unless you are very, veery good at explaining what you require you will be left unsatisfied. I would rate 1 star but since I wasn't left bold I will give 2 - tho maybe I'd rather ended up bold.

   I have been at this salon before wasn't impressed but decided to try my luck one more time and again huge disappointment. Despite being served by another hairdresser the same issue. First question I got asked was if I need my hair to be washed. I told the receptionist that I didn't as I washed it the day before but I didn't like my hair to be cut dry and she said they will spray with some water. But the hairdresser didn't even bother to do that and cut my hair dry. It was tied in a ponytail and wasn't straight when I took it off but she cut it even without straightening and when I got home realised one side is at least 1cm longer than the other. I don't understand why they avoid washing hair as their price isn't the cheapest. But the most important thing is the cut is awful. I will have to keep it in a ponytail again until I find a good hairdressers to correct it. The staff absolutely not interested in caring for customer and retaining them.
