Marc was super kind and even opened the shop early to fit me in when I really needed a haircut. Even though he was really busy, he still made the time! Great place for a haircut—highly recommend!
Amazing Hairdresser! This was my first ever visit to a hairdresser (don’t judge my mum usually does my hair), and it was an incredible experience! He was so careful and truly listened to what I wanted. The results were exactly what I had envisioned. I couldn’t be happier that someone recommended him to me. I’ve definitely found my go to stylist and will absolutely be coming back!
I recently had a disappointing experience at Shapes In Hair in Harrow. I had booked an appointment for a haircut, making sure to mention that I had already washed my hair and it was clean. However, upon arrival, the senior stylist refused to cut my hair because it was not freshly washed at the salon. This was never communicated to me over the phone when I booked the appointment. The stylist's attitude was unprofessional and rude. She did not know how to treat a regular customer and her demeanor was unapproachable. Her expressions and tone were dismissive, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating. Given the lack of clear communication and poor customer service, I cannot recommend Shapes In Hair in Harrow to anyone. I expected a higher level of professionalism, especially from a senior stylist, and was extremely disappointed by how I was treated.
I went in for a wash and cut at Shapes in Hair and booked my appointment with Andrea. I have very curly hair and have been wanting a curly cut for a long time now. My hair used to feel very heavy towards the bottom and there was no volume at the top before. Andrea was so helpful and knowledgeable and was able to give me the face framing, volume at the top and more layers in my hair as I had asked. She gave me advice too and I can say that I am very happy with the way she cut my hair. Only tip I could add is to ensure that there is extra stock of curly hair products to add once the haircut is finished. Since there was no products that could be used on curly hair before Andrea diffused my hair, I was unable to see my finished haircut to its maximum potential
If i could give no stars i would of. This is the worst place ever. My daughter got her hair done from them and they messed up her hair and they claim they have x amount of years experience. She went for a Balayge and came back with God knows what, she had told the stylist Kate everything she used before coming here so she was aware and she re-assured that she can fix it and when she finished with her hair it looked okay but as soon as she washed it a few days later all the toner came out and it looked worse than before she went back hoping to get it fixed and they had no sympathy she cried and all the owner could do was offer for a darker toner when she paid to go lighter one it wasn't the matter of her hair being orange or anything as she went to another hair shop and had amazing results. My daughter was a regular customer with them but now the other hair shop will benefit from this. She wasted her hard earned money nearly £146. She is only 18. First picture is Shapes in Hair By Kate backed by the owner. Second picture by a professional and had to pay £150 to fix it with Olaplex, bleach and toner. I will be taking this further as my daughter was distraught which they saw.
I had a bad experience in previous salons as nobody could get the colour right. I was so adamant with what I wanted. My nieces had there hair cuts from crystal a few times and they was so happy with the whole experience so I decided to give it a go! Crystal is so calm polite professional and has an amazing personality she gave me the best experience and I showed her 1 picture and she said leave it to me! I can not express enough how happy I am with my hair the colour the cut and the blow dry! Definitely highly recommend crystal! Thank you for an amazing experience I will defo be back xx
I have always had a great haircut at Shapes in Hair and have been going for over 20 years! They must have excellent training as I've gone to different hairdressers there over the years and the quality has always been consistent. Everyone is lovely and the prices are good value for the quality and experience, highly recommend
First time here and will definitely be using this as my regular hair salon. Jackie took time to listen to what I wanted done and my hair cut and style was just perfect. If you are uneasy with hairdressers I highly recommend Jackie and this salon. Staff welcoming and polite.
It was my first visit here. Lovely Hannah gave me an excellent root tint to match my hair color. She understood my needs. Made an effort to mix colors to get to the right shade and also gave me a great cut and curled blowdry. I am absolutely chuffed with the result. Thanks Hannah. Would highly recommend this place.
