We enjoyed the the friendly conversation and reception at this location. The room was very quiet and comfortable. In room breakfast was a nice touch. Our host was very helpful with planning advice for our evening meal and most importantly our ease of departure

Such a pleasant stay, easy booking and fantastic welcoming hosts. Room was lovely with a great shower, and the continental breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and warm breads/croissants. Visiting Hebden Bridge for the first time was made a delight thanks to this stay, would definitely stay again! Thank you :)

Wonderful room, clean light and spacious. The hosts are friendly, there if you need them but give you space and privacy. Totally amazing bathroom, I could happily stay in that gorgeous bath all day! The veggie breakfast was first class . My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. Definitely first class. We'll be back , can't wait .

I stayed in the attic room, it was lovely and comfortable. You practically get the top floor bathroom to yourself to boot. I particularly liked the fruit bowl that was part of the breakfast, it was a fair sized amount of blueberries, diced mango, orange, and grapes. The warm croissant + jam and butter too. Barely 5 minutes walk away from the market square too. The hosts were also really friendly and accommodating. All in all, I highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Hebden Bridge. I found the room to be both comfortable and well-equipped. The continental breakfast provided was tasty, and the fridge full of accompaniments provided in the room allowed me to add as much or as little as I wanted, as well as giving me a place to put a drink bottle to keep it cool - very useful as I was visiting in July. The en suite bathroom was modern and spacious, with a good shower. I stayed for two nights, first of all seeing a band play at the Trades Club in the town centre (only a short walk away), then spending a day out walking in the countryside. This worked as a base for both, if I ever decide to go back to Hebden Bridge, I'd stay here again.

Truly lovely bnb: it was very comfortable (we slept so well!), attractive & just minutes away from the town centre. Jo & Carmel are friendly, helpful hosts, there is ample parking space nearby, there are loads of nice goodies in the room, plus they provided (very nice) vegan breakfast options which was much appreciated. We were so pleased to have found them and hope we'll be back!

Carmel and Jo are the most gracious hosts. I do not believe that the is a problem they could not fix in a matter of moments. The rooms are comfortable and have ample windows and, for me, interesting vistas.

If I had a better vocabulary, I could adequately describe Thorncliffe. Let me start by saying that Jo and Carmel are immensely accommodating and their place is not only clean and beautiful, but conveniently located to everything in town. Our room was spacious and stocked with all kinds of goodies. Breakfast was light and complimented with the best croissants I've ever eaten. The view from our room was outstanding. The bathroom we had was my dream bathroom complete with a giant stand alone tub and I felt like a queen the two nights we were there. My husband and I were hiking the Pennine Way and needed a couple days to recuperate from blisters and sore feet. Jo had a tub of cream she recommended and gave us hers! I can't say enough about Thorncliffe. If you're looking for a place to stay a night or two, Thorncliffe is the best option in town. Be careful though, you may want to stay forever!
