   Mike our host went above and beyond . What a lovely man. Everything was immaculate. We had the luxury room with Jacuzzi. Loved every minute of our stay . Highly recommend this beautiful Cottage and owner Mike . Spotlessly clean everywhere.

   Was really happy with our stay! We stayed in the room on the ground floor with the hot tub and was amazed at how clean it was, as i was walking around bare foot outside on the decking and didn't have dirty feet at all where as I've stayed at more expensive places and have gotten dirty socks and feet from being just inside. There were complimentary snacks and drinks in the room which was a lovely touch and the breakfast was lovely, Mike was very accommodating and really friendly which made me and my partner feel at is considering we are both neurodiverse and struggle with social interactions. It's situated in a good area where there is easy access to whatever you need around you. We were worried there would be noise pollution with other customers staying in the same house at the same time but we heard no other noises from everyone else and had a restful stay. The room was beautifully decorated as well!

   What a fantastic and different place to stay! Nestled right beside the river Nidd and the viaduct in the heart of Knaresborough, this is truly a special place to stay. Equipped with its own private hit tub that is not overlooked, it's a little bit of well needed luxury. Mike the host can't do enough for you to ensure that your stay is extra special.

   Truly unique in location, rooms and additional outdoor and indoor seating areas. You are right on the riverside but with easy parking, access to travel links, walking plus food, drinks & local shops yards away. We could not have asked for more. Great beds, bathroom and biscuits!! The continental breakfast is first class but the biggest asset is Mike himself who is a true role model for Independent B&B providers. Would not hesitate in recommending or returning to this truly wonderful holiday accommodation - Gordon & Susan

   Just had a wonderful night at teardrop cottage. Mike the owner was very welcoming and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about what to do and where to go. We stayed in the chocolate room was was lovely it had lovely little treats and Harrogate spa water all complimentary and had great views of the river. Our bathroom was just along the landing which wasn't a problem. and had a large shower and roll top bath. We would definitely stay here again. Id highly recommended it.

   Just had an amazing night in the large downstairs room here. Decorated lovely loads of space and added little touches. The hot tub area was great too. Couldn't fault it at all. Thank you for a lovely night.

   We booked for my husbands 40th, we both like Knaresborough and Teardrop was the perfect location. However we booked for the riverside view but from our window you would have to open and lean out to see the river so that was disappointing and also for the heated terrace which we thought would be nice to sit out but there was no heating , so that was a no go in February. The room was decorated very nice , small but had everything you needed . The chocolates and the bottled water are a nice extra touch . It's a cottage and you expect creaking but oh my goodness , with every step you took it was very loud creaking. The ensuite is very small not much room to move but clean and modern . The room was clean, can't fault that . We were told on arrival that if we wanted a cooked breakfast it was a short walk away at a cafe and we'd need to pay extra for it , so we went for the uncooked which was ready for us at 9am . Good selection of fresh fruit , yogurt, cereal , a couple of prepacked pastries , toast , prepacked cheese - fine for us but would have like it made clear in booking exactly what was on offer for breakfast . The host although knowledgeable I feel could be more relaxed to have put us at ease, felt a little like he was speaking to a child at times although I'm sure it wasn't his intention to come across that way but for some reason we didn't feel completely at ease.

   the owner is really friendly. the location is perfect two minutes from the station and near everything you would want to visit. the rooms are perfect bed is comfy and the hot tub is the icing on the cake

   This cottage is absolutely amazing. Booked this for the wife's birthday and we had an amazing time in Knaresborough. Close to pub's and restaurant's and topped off with a few drinks in the hottub. Dealing with the owner Mike was an absolute breeze, very helpful service. We enjoyed it so much we've already booked for my wife's birthday next year.

   Stayed here back in October. Host (Mike) was very welcoming despite recently coming out of hospital. Helped us with recommendations in both Knaresborough and Harrogate. Lots of complimentary goodies provided and appreciated. Place itself is lovely with a great view of viaduct and river. Room and bathroom very tidy and clean. Would recommend!
