   I booked a textured/curly hair appointment for the first time because I really wanted a fringe, and all hairdressers I’ve seen in the past have talked me out of it/not had the confidence to cut on my hair type. From start to finish, the experience was genuinely fantastic - I’m SO pleased with the result. What I appreciated most was how personal and realistic the appointment felt. Instead of running through a script or trying to upsell products, my stylist actually asked about my routine and made recommendations that would genuinely fit into it. She handled my hair with so much care, gave me a lovely natural blow dry, and cut my fringe with real confidence. She understood how it would settle and curl over the next few days, which immediately put me at ease. The offer of a free fringe trim down the line is such a thoughtful touch. The salon itself is beautiful. The vibe is so warm and welcoming; the owner should be really proud of the space they’ve created. I’d honestly go back just to have a coffee and chat! Highly recommend for anyone with waves/curls looking for a stylist who gets it.

   I had the pleasure of visiting this salon to get a haircut from Jessee. I think I have found my go-to salon! The whole experience was wonderful. Jessee was so warm and welcoming and really listened to what I wanted my hair to look like. She took the time to perfect the cut and blow dry. I got so many compliments on my hair! Not only that, she also took the time to explain how I could care for my hair better. My hair hasn’t been this good in so long.

   I never thought I’d have a go-to salon or talk about going to “my hairdresser”, but here we are! Billie’s done amazing jobs of cutting my hair with a razor for the layers, cutting my hair to show up hair colour that was done elsewhere, and even cutting to my hair to remove the texture ahead of my wedding. As someone who’s quite sensitive, the scalp clinic treatment and recommendations given have been amazing at making my head feel so much better. I can definitely tell a difference when I’m travelling and not keeping to my hair routine. Although I do get my hair done for practical reasons, I consider my hair appointments part of my self-care and love treating myself by knowing I’m treating my hair! They’re great at suggesting creative things to do with your hair without being pushy. I decided to finally get quite a noticeable and vibrant peekaboo, and would normally be quite nervous about the end result or effect of the dye on my hair, but was more than happy to let Billie do her thing. I’m lucky to get compliments about my hair and it’s definitely in large part down to All Shook Up! Plus, if you’re in a talkative mood, the conversations are always brilliant!

Not only does my hair look amazing but Billie also really knows about hair health and shares her knowledge in order to help you keep your hair looking its best in between appointments.    I was looking for a high standard salon at reasonable price with personalised hair service and quality products. All Shook Up salon was a lovely surprise! The salon offers a warm and welcoming environment, a great attention to the customer, and the staff takes the time to review your hair and advise you on the most appropriate treatment and home care.    I always return to All Shook Up because I know I’ll get a great cut/blow dry. Everyone is super friendly and they offer incredible services for relaxation. Pamela is incredibly knowledgable on all things hair and I always know I’m in the surest of hands. An added bonus is that the salon has sustainability values at its core!
