   I came to Neto after growing out my roots for a year to protect my hair from the damage I’d caused by years of bleaching. I was very clear in the consultation that I wanted to keep my natural root (for a low-maintenance, lived-in look) and just brighten the ends and face-framing pieces with creamy blonde highlights. Unfortunately, the result did not reflect what I asked for. Rather than preserving or enhancing my natural contrast, he removed it entirely—by applying bleach to my roots, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted, both aesthetically and in terms of hair health. The face-framing brightness I requested was lost, and the overall result felt flat and muted. I was devastated that after a year of growing out my roots he’d just gone ahead and put bleach on them. When I contacted Neto that same day to express my concerns, he declined to offer a correction, despite his own terms stating that client satisfaction is the goal and that all issues would be addressed. Instead, he insisted there was “nothing wrong” with the outcome and refused to explore any way to put it right. I fully understand that inspiration photos are a guide, but the photo I showed him was of someone with natural roots like me, and he had ignored this completely. Sadly, I didn’t feel heard or supported, and I left with a result that didn’t suit me and that I now need to wait another year to grow out my roots.

   Hairdresser Neto Assis left bleach on my hair for two hours and completely destroyed my healthy hair, I’m absolutely devastated. When I messaged, I didn’t ask for a refund or anything of the sort, just for some advice on how to fix it, I received an incredibly abusive text back.

   I couldn’t rate 122 more highly, Grant and Victoria, are brilliant, it is very clear they have years of knowledge and experience in the field - they know what to advise and what works, but crucially they don’t try to sell you anything like many of these chains do! They welcome everyone and they truly pamper you. A great experience and always make you feel fab!
