    Just wanted to share how excited I was to find this women only private salon with such an expert hair stylist. I feel so uncomfortable walking into busy High Street salons with massive windows which make you feel like you;'re on display to the whole world. It was incredible to find this place and I feel relieved and excited knowing I have a stylist who outshines the rest in my opinion.... and to top it all, in a beautiful quiet and private salon - can't put a price on that. I just hope she stays there and never closes, I'd be gutted. If privacy combined with perfection is important to you, look no further, can't recommend this place enough.

    Professional, perfect hair cutting delivered by a stylist who has an instinct for what's going to work. Beautiful, private, salon tucked away just behind the High Street. Turn left off the High Street at Costa and walk through the car park (opposite side to Morrisons car park); it's just a few short steps, tucked away in the far left corner. Press the buzzer to enter a completely private, safe, and calming space, and enjoy becoming even more beautiful than when you stepped in ! This place is a winner. Five stars.

    This place is a hidden gem and well worth seeking out. Claire is certainly an expert when it comes to colouring, as my hair looked perfect. She also gave me a treatment that made my hair look brilliantly shiny. I will definitely be back!

    Riverside hair is next to the Bikram yoga entrance around the back of the shops. Claire and Harriet are always happy and smiling and give a great service, my 7 year daughter will not go anywhere else. Now also after taking my mum she is now a fan of her new haircut.

    Harriet delivered above and beyond my expectations! I was really nervous of going darker as from previous experience it’s not never been great however Harriet did a fantastic job. I LOVE my hair. She was so knowledgeable - knew exactly what she was doing and talked me through it thoroughly. I had such a blast and a good laugh whilst getting my hair done, a very relaxing and fun experience. My hair colour, cut and blow dry with tongs was fantastic. I’ve been receiving so many compliments and I keep telling all my family and friends they need to go to riverside! Thanks for the perfect hair colour and cut before my birthday!

    I wish I could give 10 stars!! Absolutely in love with my new hair! I got a cut and balayage and my hair has never felt and looked healthier. Not only had she done an amazing job, she is extremely professional and kind. I could not recommend riverside hair chigwell enough!

    The welcome and consultation was warm, friendly and professional and my hair was coloured by Claire using the latest natural type products followed by a lovely blowdry with Harriet. This was my first visit to this salon.
