   My son was in here, he had a seizure, and no one checked on him, they were saying he wasn't somewhere he should of been, so he requested to go on tag, they didn't give a poop about him,, they set him up to fail, which I'm so proud of my son he didn't fail, so we'll done staff, for not giving a damn, about time they got diff workers who actually care.

   A great safe place for ex offenders to re introgate into the community in a safe and controlled environment, the re offending rate here is very low in comparison to other hostels around the country and there is alot of respect between staff and residents with very few exceptions. An amazing environment with amazing staff

   Visiting from prison and felt that it was a supportive environment with genuine staff. I guess anywhere is what you make it and if you bring negative vibes you wont get the best from Southview. However, if you adopt a prosocial and collaborative attitude then this is a good placement for adjustment and springboard for progression. Food/food share are well above average. Links to other support agencies are also good.

   Psychologically Informed Planned Environment. Run by the Ministry of Justice Programme that has earned the Enabling Enviroment status. This is an "Approved Premises" part of the National Probation Services (NPS)

   I was in this place a few years ago, and to tell you the truth, it was awful all you got was bullying mostly from staff, who just used to sit in a nice warm office, if you told them it was cold, they said get another quilt and it will be fine. Half starved and no help. Maybe its got better as it could only get worse.

   Not bad but some of the residents could do with a few lessons in how to live within a community and have respect for others. Some of the staff could also do with lessons in how to except been wrong and that a resident may be intelligent enough to understand their actions and mistakes.
