Stayed here for two nights during a business trip. It's a lovey renovated barn, the hosts are super friendly and hospitable, and she makes a lovely cooked brakefast. Highly recomend staying here
Enjoyed a two night stay at this lovely farm bed and breakfast, with my partner, as a get away for a few days too celebrate her 70th birthday. Catherine was very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Stayed in Room 1, which was spacious and quiet. Breakfast included everything you could possibly want. Thoroughly enjoyable, very clean and would recommend too anyone. Thank you for a very pleasant stay, plus the apples which were a plenty on the orchard trees! No extra charge! Happy days.
What an amazing B&B. We booked as we had a family wedding locally. The rooms were spotless and Catherine couldn't have been more helpful. Even allowing an early check in so we could change. The breakfast in the morning was 5star, loads of choice from cereal to a cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend and will be staying again in the future.
What a gem of a place. Cannot recommend staying here enough. We were attending a wedding in the area & it was the perfect spot. Beautiful comfortable room, fluffy towels & everywhere spotlessly clean. Catherine was so welcoming & accommodating- absolutely nothing is too much trouble for her! Breakfast was freshly made & delicious…. plus fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, sourdough bread & even flowers on the table. We are already planning our next stay.
Cannot give this B&B enough stars. From the ease of booking and checking in, to the help with local taxis, to the gorgeous room and great breakfast. Cannot recommend this place enough. Catherine was simply amazing. The rooms are spotless, and so comfortable. We stayed in room 1 and the bathroom and shower are amazing. Bed is really comfy. We only stayed one night, but the breakfast the next morning was just perfect. A full selection of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, toasts and accompaniments alongside a full cooked breakfast, hot drinks and fruit juice. Was utterly divine and cooked to perfection.
We had a lovely stay at Colton Haggs Farm. The room exceeded our expectations. Catherine was an exceptional host! We felt ill the night we stayed and she gave us some meds to make sure we’ll feel better. She even asked if we had food to eat that night knowing we couldn’t go out. In the morning, she prepared us the perfect English breakfast. Will definitely have to come back when it’s less colder in York. Thank you again, Colton Haggs Farm. It was a short but lovely stay. ❤️

Katherine was a wonderful host nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation and food were superb, the full English breakfast was second to none. The farm offers a beautiful, peaceful location and as we have family in York we will be retuning.D&M
Nothing was too much trouble . We felt as if we were good friends visiting the farm. We were greeted with smiles, a stunning location, a well-appointed king-size room a & huge, powerful shower. All our boxes ticked immediately! Catherine keeps a clean, pretty, friendly business running, seemingly, effortlessly (although it must be non-stop input) & Tony & I would like to say thankyou very much & if you are reading this review, guys, just book it......you will love it!!
Superb bed & breakfast ...very clean & very comfortable room in a lovely farm setting. Catherine is the perfect host...she was extremely helpful with local advice, with letting us have breakfast a little later than usual after a late night back from a wedding party & she served an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
