Recently became a tenant for one of the flats from YPP letting. The flat has faults and they have shown no interest in fixing them. To top it off the place has rats! Absolutely disgusting and I shall be demanding an early termination as I don’t want live in a rat infested dump anymore

Chloe and Jake are always brilliant, very professional and couldn't be more helpful. They are always happy to deal with any queries and work very hard to ensure all tenants are looked after, nothing is too much trouble; it is much appreciated ! We will be sad to leave as they have been very accommodating to us throughout our tenancy.
Do not rent with YPP. Spent months fighting for our deposit which we never got back. We were charged £300 for things that were damaged when we moved in. The flat was dirty and not cleaned from the previous tenants when we moved in, there were painters in the room as we moved in, some of the previous tenants things were still in the cupboards. The overall process was absolutely terrible. Prices were ridiculous for a disgusting flat. We reported everything on the day we moved in and yet they still tried to charge us for it all when we left.
Jake and Chloe have made the experience of living at Piccadilly Residence an absolute delight! They are always happy to help with any issues you might have, especially when you first move in, such as setting up bills, reporting any faults with the flat and even issues with student loans. They go out of their way to greet you cheerily whenever you walk in and make sure to notify you of any parcels you have available without fail. My partner and I are so thankful to have them around!
Jake and Chloe have been amazing. It’s so lovely to have such friendly faces at the desk. Having lived in a YPP property for over 8 months now, we’ve seldom had any issues and when we have they’ve all been resolved quickly. I would recommend renting through YPP York office.
Very bad experience staying here. First, YPP is based in Leeds not York so reception staff Amber and Jake are always leaving early or not at reception at all. Second, at check out, they will do everything they can to deduct your deposit, like crawling on the bed to take pictures of the ceiling and claiming that we stained the ceiling. This is ridiculous, the people who live in YPP are ordinary people instead of giants. Also, they will mark dirty rooms as clean and beautiful upon check-in, everything is the resident's fault. Please don't stay here if you have better options, otherwise your deposit will be fully charged by YPP.
Hello, Sending a really big thank you to all the fantastic staff at YPP Lettings York. Particularly Amber, Jake and Garry. You really have been so very welcoming, kind and helpful. My daughter has been living at YPP this year during her final year at Uni, she has enjoyed living in her flat so much and all the staff have been amazing and made her feel really at home and cared for. The staff in YPP letting York Office is very very nice and friendly. When I moved in there, there are several problems occurred like the boiler, sink, electricity account set-up, and so on. All the staff tried their best to help me and made it work. Especially the maintenance team, Garry really did a good job. Appreciate the office’s help here :)
Moving daughter into her flat and there were a few teething problems but Gary was extremely helpful and sorted them out. Explained how to report any other problems (if there are any) and he would action them. Good to put a face to a name. Really friendly and approachable. Thanks Gary.
