Anderton McClements have been simply outstanding to work with. Being an out of town property owner can add complications, but the entire team's customer service has been faultless. Emma in particular has impressed deeply with her in-depth knowledge, practical approach and proactiveness. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
I cannot fault the team at Anderton McClements at all. They are amazing and an extremely good agency. I would recommend them for anyone wanting to find a place in York. The team have been so kind and helpful throughout the whole process of us moving in and have been there for us every step of the way. They are a wholesome, kind, approachable, caring and really down to earth team. Always there with a happy smile. They are professional and knowledgeable, which has really helped us. Our house is so cozy and lovely with absolutely no faults. They have explained everything so well and made the process really smooth and easy. Good job team! They are really on your side.
Really good experience renting with Anderton McClements in York the past 2 years. The agents were really helpful whenever there was anything that needed looking over at the property, and has several reliable contractors they will send out to fix any problems quickly. They were friendly and approachable throughout, and made the check-in and check-out process straightforward and stress-free. I would recommended them highly for anyone looking to rent in or around York.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Their offices were a bit difficult to find (maybe a more precise point can be plotted on the map?) but they were immediately responsive to my phone call and helped me find their office. Generally very happy with all their help and support with our flat ☺️
This a very unprofessional service. They found a tenant And agreed the let without checking the references. They stalled me for two weeks and a half, advising me to stick with a client. In the end this prospective tenant apparently decided not to go through. They are not an advocate of landlords they wasted three weeks of my time and sabotaged the other agency from advertising..according to then, let was agreed Then they decided they are going to keep the holding deposit. I guess that’s a way for them to make money for job they dont do , keeping money they don’t belong to them. I only got 40% of the holding deposit and Should have gotten all of it. They don’t even check the references or perspective clients and only did what they normally do. They only supposed to get paid when they actually find a Client. I have complained about this behaviour to 2 different Real estate professional bodies. I’m trying to let everybody know of how this agency works so nobody gets victimised. Please be careful with this agency. They’re not genuine and don’t feel like they look after Landlord’s interest whatsoever
Today we met the lovely Emma who took us to view a property In Heworth. She was absolutely brilliant, greeted us cheerfully, turned up nice and early to let us in and show us around. Emma guided us through the building and answered questions we might and many more bits of info we hadn't thought to ask. The staff in the office were so quick to respond and extremely helpful with kicking are application off!
Me and my partner are currently renting a flat with Anderton McClements and we honestly are amazed by the service they provide for us. We are both students so were struggling to find a property which met our high standards. We struck gold with finding our current flat. The application process was made so easy for us and they helped us with any questions and queries we had. Now that we are in the property they are so professional and they actually care unlike a lot of agencies. Any issues we have they make sure to get back to us very quickly and the issue has been completed within 24-48 hours. Even non emergencies!! We would like to make a special mention to Helen Gaffney. She has been incredible and is always willing to do everything in her power to help with even the smallest things. Couldn’t recommend Anderton Mcclements anymore.
As a smaller letting agency, we felt Anderton McClement would offer a more personal approach and we have not been disappointed. We were new to letting and required a fully managed service. Amy and Emma made everything so simple and straightforward and were friendly and approachable from our first contact. They found a suitable tenant within 5 days!
