Lovely, friendly and helpful staff Amazing breakfast, cooked fresh to order, with choice of full English, continental and cereals. Non dairy milk also available Nicely finished bar area, limited drink selection available though, and very few people using it, so no atmosphere Room, nicely cleaned, clean sheets, towels and bathroom with shower over bath, but shower control broken. Room decoration very dated and extremely tired, bed was comfortable and decent size The hotel has apparently just changed owners, and rooms are being refurbished. Overall outstanding value for money, staff are a credit to the hotel, once refurbished it will take a bit of beating, until then if you are looking for a value for money overnight stay on a budget then this will do the job

I stayed for just one night and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfortable, and everything felt well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Although there were a couple of minor issues, they didnβt impact my stay at all. It was a warm night, so I had the window open and could occasionally smell smoke from people on the balcony β not a problem for me, but something to be aware of if youβre sensitive to that. Also, the power to the sockets tripped at some point overnight, but I didnβt need to use them in the morning so it wasnβt an issue for me. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay again. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

I went inside to inquire about potentially staying there for the night with my children, oldest 16. The staff were very rude. I then found out a month later that i owed them Β£160 parking fine, even though the original fine was told to be Β£60. I received the fine AFTER the appeal window was closed, so I had to pay more than double what I should. I would rather recommed you sleep on the street than go to them

It was in a nice and quiet place, close to a lot of fast food restaurants, cinema as well as an ASDA. The price is great, affordable and you get your money's worth. However, the beds were slightly uncomfortable and the walls were thin and we could hear our neighbours TV past midnight. However, for a 2 star hotel it did its job and we were pleased while staying at the hotel.

Walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and even an ASDA. Perfect for a one night/two night stay. Definitely needs some refurbishing , and could sometimes hear the room next door to me. But you get what you pay for. Other than I canβt complain. It was a good stay

You can't expect too much for the price and this place suited us for a night. It's not lavish or swanky but the price reflects that. Our bed was comfy and the room was at least superficially clean. 10 minute walk to the racecourse, or a two minute walk to the bus stop to get to Doncaster. Breakfast was ok and the staff were polite and professional. Had no issues with our stay, but our expectations were aligned with the price.

I like a good budget hotel, but this is just terrible. Very dirty rooms! Absolutely not worth paying more than Β£10/ night if I'm being generous. Also, you can't book without payment details, but this doesn't mean you've paid. The confirmation email sent out means absolutely nothing, because when your arrive late (because it's a 6 hour drive), you are just sent away as only people who have paid will get a room. The phone number doesn't work.

Stayed here after booking at very short notice. Staff and and the housekeepers were extremely pleasant to me and my wife, managed to sort us a couple of nights on even shorter notice, by moving us rooms. For us, the beds were comfy for a night's sleep. The food served was out of this world. Both me and my wife enjoyed the food cooked. Maybe could do a bit better at cleaning the rooms but overall, was a really enjoyable stay. Should we require to stay in Doncaster in future we have already decided that we'll be staying again.

Just OK. Entering the hotel you are greeted by toilets smelling of toilet cleaner. The room was very basic gloomy with poor lighting and smelled odd. Beds ok shower very good and thankfully quiet neighbours but the walls are thin. Breakfast was very good. It's not however a place we would use again.
