I usually come in for a retwist and need a barber close by to finish the look. With my tight schedule I had to call in and move my appointment earlier than planned, and Liam didn’t make it a problem at all — no fuss, just accommodated me straight away. He’s cool, calm, and collected, knows exactly what to do with the clippers, and actually asks the right questions to make sure you walk out with the cut you want. Definitely someone I’ll be going back to every time.
We started going to Icon barbers just after lockdown, and I was looking for something different to previous barbers I’d used; competence & reliability. I’ve got that in spades, as Vinnie provides excellent service every month for my son and I, delivering a comfortable experience and consistently sharp haircuts. I always enjoy getting my haircut done at ICON Barbers with my brother for years now. Vinnie and Richard are very experienced and knowledgeable with regard to cutting and designing various hair styles to a high standard, providing really good value for money. They are very patient towards all types of people, making everyone feel comfortable and welcome which stands out. They are also very friendly and down to earth which makes it easy to have a chat whilst getting your haircut. I really like that you can watch high in demand football matches and other sports as part of their haircut service and experience. I’m a ridiculously person when it comes to my trim & I don’t have the easiest hair to cut because of the different directions it grows. I’ve been going to Rich for a good few years (prior to Icon Barbers opening) and I can honestly say both him & Vinnie have outdone themselves with opening this shop from scratch. One the best, most successful, family run businesses I know around London. This company runs a professional, consistent & honest service every day they are open. They stick & will at times go beyond the opening hours, always ready for a laugh & will accommodate no matter what. Whether you want a one off cut or an ongoing one, both barbers will deliver & leave you beyond impressed. I was really impressed with these barbers the most professional barber shop I have ever been to. Also Vinny & Richie consistency every time, a quality cut and if you have an appointment it’s always bang on time. A place where you see no one loafing around. If you haven’t an appointment get there early as they are busy, as everyone knows they are the number one barbers, they are boss without a doubt and truly Icons in the industry!
