Horrible customer service!! The old lady by the self checkout (at 14.57, on 29th December 2025) did not agree to help me with my nectar points, I forgot to scan it and paid directly, she was very rude, did not show basic customer service skills “it’s not my fault if you did not remember”. Later I went to the customer service desk and there was a manager by there, I explained him the situation and he agreed to help me with it, and was almost going to do it but the lady unnecessarily involved herself in the conversation and radioed the man not to help us even tho he almost processed the difference to refund the money back (£12 almost). He suddenly flipped too and said the till won’t allow him to process the refund. I myself work in retail and know that refunding money if a customer forgets to add their memberships/club cards are very easy. But this was extremely mean of that lady and I did not expect the manager to join as well. He said the beef which was on half price with nectar, the offer has expired but I don’t understand why do they still keep the offer there when it has been expired. I know this review won’t effect the company in any way, but you guys should know that the employees add a lot of value to the brand and this was very very horrible experience and the lady should not even come to work if she’s having a bad day rather than spoiling someone else’s day. I would understand if she would be polite and respectful!

Visited around 7am the other morning, and overheard a manager 'Dayna' (only know as I saw her badge) speaking to members of staff shopping absolutely disgusting- like they are dirt!!! Don't understand how they haven't left. Think she should be brought in and taught that a manager is not a bully and how to actually effectively manage employees.

This is a pretty large, tidy and organised supermarket. The staff are helpful and friendly. My only issue is the very small vegan selection. The gluten free range is pretty large by comparison. More vegan food please. :-)

Shopped here for years, it’s changed so much I always went to the fresh cake & bread counter, it’s gone now. Now you expected to slice your own bread, the bread isn’t cheap either, so not only self service check outs but slicing your own bread . I’ve started going to the home bake near my house, it’s cheaper fresh and sliced for you if you want it sliced and the cakes there are gorgeous. Come sainsburys what have you done?

If I could give zero stars I would. First time picking up click and collect no information on how to pick up. Go inside a manager who was frosty went into the back to get my order. Told me to wait in the foyer shel be out with my food. Half an hour later as she walks past without my food I asked the lovely security guards to find out what was happening. He found out the manager had sent my food in the van in the car park but didn’t think to tell me to drive over to the van. She just left me there waiting for thirty minutes. Also loads of my order was substituted and loads not in stock, I won’t be shopping with Sainsbury’s again and won’t be using the store. Iv also made a complaint !

1st time being in this store its large plenty of lovely clothes to pick from in a good range of sizes. Food fresh and well laid out prices are affordable. Good selection of wines and beers, and soft drinks. Has a argos also at the store found it a great help having every thing in one store.

The store is clean and tidy. The shelves seem to be well stocked. The car park has a bit of a funny layout. No experience with the staff due to using automatic tills and not needing assistance. The only thing letting this store down is the lack of music or atmosphere.

Called in looking for plants for garden. Big mistake as staff haven't bothered to water any in store so most are dead. Very poor. Can't believe nobody noticed they were dying or actually cares about what they are selling . Would advise against Sainsbury's for plants or anything else for that matter if they have same level of care in rest of store. Avoid
