We stayed for 1 night attending a function nearby , nothing to fault . Rooms were clean , warm , coffee & tea in the room & towels . Communication was good throughout. Might book again soon .
Beautiful location, room tastefully decorated, fresh, clean and comfortable. Host, Adrian gave a lovely welcome and really looked after us. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back, if in the area again. Room could do with mirror by plug for doing hair and makeup and a working light over bathroom mirror. Communal fridges could do with a clean. Everything else was perfect and excellent value for money ☺️ Thank you for a lovely overnight stay

I hired all four rooms out for the day before my wedding for myself & my bridal party. From arrival we had such a warm and welcoming hello, a bottle of beautiful fizz and treats which was so unexpected but so equally lovely. I couldn't have asked for a more secluded & peaceful experience, exactly what I needed prior to the big day. The owner is a fabulous man, calm and kind and let us relax in the gardens until late using all of the facilities and even the bar area for our wedding preparations in the morning. Thank you so much for making our time at Holly Lodge stress free and beautiful.
Stayed one night. Friendly welcome from Tim. Lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed. No food available, but a 10 minute brisk walk to a choice of food establishments. We visited The Larch Farm, which is a pub with a huge selection of food including an extensive fish menu. There is also an Italian restaurant and a Sainsbury's Local shop. At Holly Lodge there is a communal fridge and freezer available.
Comfortable rooms in a peaceful setting near the beautiful Harlow Wood. The hosts were welcoming and basic amenities such as tea, coffee, kettle as well as good wifi were provided. Super comfortable bedding, and the showers were hot with good pressure. The property is conviniently located near the A60, so getting around is really simple. Would definitely return!
I stayed at Holly Lodge whilst attending a friend's birthday celebration. The location is lovely and rural in a peaceful setting. The room and bed was comfortable. It also has a has a double door opening up into a sunny area, which is a nice place to sit and relax on a pleasant evening. As the rooms are based outside the main house it provides a good degree of privacy, along with the flexibility of coming and going as you please without disturbing the hosts. The local area has some great walks nearby, with the local village of Ravenshead boasting a range of pubs, a nice cafe in the centre, along with a couple of small supermarkets to acquire provisions. All in all a great place for a short break in a special location.
