   Two stars because of the food quality is decent however customer service is highly lacking and needs improvement if I was a secret shopper I would have scored it 0/10. To be served and I when asked 'can I have bag' the response wasn't your typical 'Yes Sir' then push to promote a bag for life but a 'SAY PLEASE!' I felt embarrassed like I was 3 I'm well over 10 times that age as an adult in service sector it's a well known fact you don't belittle you're customers and that's how I felt and you lost one today.

   I purchased a cabbage from this shop with some new potatoes. On preparation of the veg for our Sunday lunch, the cabbage was mouldy all the way through. This had to be thrown away. Half of the potatoes were green and also had to be thrown. I had to go to the local supermarket for replacements on the Sunday. I do not live in hoole so a week later I popped into the shop to give constructive feedback. The lady on the till was pleasant and did ask if I wanted a replacement cabbage. I did not want another so she said I could get some potatoes. As I walked over to the potatoes a very rude man shouted "you should have brought them back on the same day" to which I replied it was a Sunday and you were closed. He didn't even have the manners to apologise he completely ignored my response. I then decided not to bother with replacement potatoes as his response made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I will never shop in there again but shop in a supermarket where the veg is at least edible. I like to support local businesses but this is not worthy of my custom. £4 out of pocket and no customer services to speak off.
